Vertigo has nothing to do with fear of heights it is amedical condition with crystals becoming dislodged and getting into the wrongcanal ,causing dizziness and nausia fear of heights is acrophobia as in acrobat

Sorry it's not vertigo which is a fear of high places but acrophobia which in turn can cause dizziness but you can feel dizzy with your feet firmly on the ground. Mr Hitchcock has a lot of questions to answer for misleading folks like that with his film "Vertigo" suppose it sounds better than "Acrophobia".
Linda; you are right. Vertigo has nothing, per se, to do with acrophobia. Of course one can experience the sensation of vertigo if one has a fear of heights and is in a "high location". 🤔
