Viofo have a hardwire kit. Highly recommend if you've not used it. Has parking mode on it, can record to a lower bitrate for a set amount of hours etc.
I got mine for 239 on Amazon, it works well I’m spoiled because I’ve had Streetguardian for at least three years maybe four. As with all cameras of today, they have very good definition as far as seeing everything they really don’t pick up license plates very well at all our Streetguardian I believe it was like four years old red plates good enough that we were able to even pick up somebody that rear-ended us once and took off. Not sure if you could do that with this one , it definitely has many great features though. Knock on wood it’s still going strong. Thanks
