You can play with roles that require adjacency over Zoom by having people give themselves a number (in their name) and they can arrange themselves in numerical order (which wraps from largest # to 1). So everyone knows who their neighbors are at all time.
I have spent the last two days searching online for a comprehensive list of roles and what they do and found nothing. Thank you so much for this. I found the online pdf’s of the rules but doesn’t clarify all of the roles. You’re a lifesaver!
oh and on zoom you can have adjecent stuff, just click a little thing in there saying everyone will see the player window order the same way that the moderator does! We used it a bunch Tom! :D
Hi Tom. I thought if a new role called the Wizard. Once per round choose to protect only yourself at night. Once you choose to cast your protection around you to survive the night, ALL other attacks/enchantments/forms of protection will no longer affect you. You may be protected/enchanted/attacked the following morning and/or any time AFTER. Kinda hard to explain, but very simple really. Basically, know when to protect yourself later on in the game
I miss playing the WW games on Zoom. The facebook group has been great to keeping them going, but I've just been so busy. I hope I can find more time :)
I'd guess that the Teenage Werewolf (say "wolf" every night) works better if the player instead has to say a predetermined word that the other players do not know - determined by the Moderator. (Perhaps chosen randomly from a set list?) Or for that matter - roles like Teenage Werewolf, Idiot and Pacifist - perhaps they would work better if they "maybe" are in the game. They can be listed as the "maybe" roles in a separate pile, so that maybe one or two "maybe" roles maybe (or perhaps always) are drafted into the game.
I like the code word idea a lot actually. Thank you for that. I also play Werewolf a lot with the same group of friends and I have a list of “possible random roles” that may or may not exist in the current game so I would definitely pop that role in that list. But when I’m hosting a big public game I think waking them seperate at night and showing them the code word (I play with a big whiteboard which helps pass needed info to certain players haha) is an excellent idea. Will have to try it out 👍🏻
I know this comment is old so you probably know already but yes. Because they need to be kept seperate from the role cards anyway the different backs don’t matter in terms of messing up the game 😊
Would love to see you post some of those maybe trials in werewolf on the channel. I know that you are extremely busy but I loved watching the games of werewolf you posted. +1 to have Tom moderate some more games in the werewolf channel. While I haven’t managed to join a playthrough yet I miss the content.
Nope. This is the version, but the reason the answer is no, is because the app is broken, and does not scan cards. Takes about 1-5min to scan and even then we have only ever got 2 cards scanned. The app was 100% reason we backed, and 100% the thing the let's this game down.
Have been asking for a video to show this game work with app from Beizer has then blame damaged cards or incorrect light (claiming it works with them when KS is full of others saying it is broke). If you want this game it is still playable the old way, with pad and pen, and then in time hope that it works with app, once/if it is fixed, but at moment it looks like they moved on from the app, and now they are now blaming customers for it not working.
Can anyone tell me how to play the -Vampire role (16:11) -Mason role (16:27 -Insomniac (16:37) I don't really understand how to play these roles, and I would be really thankful if someone that knows this info teachs me how to play them. Thanks in advance!!
Hey, late reply here. Vampires are actually the same as werewolves, you can replace half of the werewolves with vampires. The only difference is that the target of the vampires die during the next day after elimination. Also to make vampires a little stronger, they cannot be killed by werewolves. Now for the masons. The masons wake up the 1st night to know who the other masons are. However, if anyone tries to speak about the masons during the day, they will be eliminated at night. Now, Imsomniac is pretty simple. If you're the moderator, wake the insomniac up and tell them if their neighbors took a night action. If you have any more questions, let me know (:
@@Shoebi618 So Insomniac only check a player adjacent to him? Can Insomniac check other players besides neighbours as alternative rules? I found out during my experiment, Insomniac really useful to identify a -1 info ww role or werewolf helper like Wolfman, Sorceress, Chupacabra, Spy, etc. that has night active roles unknown to Seer (except Mystic Seer). I hope Insomniac role rules can be changed. Maybe there are rules for Insomniac in 200 pages rules that I didn't get that's why Im asking. Sorry for long response.
@@fgxia9481Hey! Yes, as far as I know Imsomniac only gets to know if players adjacent to them. I'm not exactly sure if there are alternatives or scenarios with the Insomniac since I don't have ultimate werewolf extreme so you'll have to check or ask someone else. Hope this helps! (:

Well for the info the 200 pages rule book that I mentioned for the newest version of Ultimate Werewolf Game that include UW Extreme can only be gotten by buying the newest Ultimate Werewolf Extreme Collector's Edition and Super Collector's Edition, that's why Im asking because is not an accessible info for everyone. Also there aren't any content or threads in social medias that I searched discuss this 200 pages rule book which is confusing cause that's basically inform WW players about complete rules so that player can understand more but instead that 200 pages rule book is accessible behind paywall. I was hoping someone in comment have that 200 pages rule book cause all my friends that I asked didn't buy Collector's edition or join Bezier Kickstarter Project for UW Extreme. Anyway that's my reason why Im asking, but again that's just my personal complain and opinion. Sorry for the unimportant response to you, just want someone know :)
