Thank you! So power and pop measurements are more "feel" for me rather than a scientific test. I basically spent a lot of time hitting the paddles side by side in games, drills, and against the wall to understand how they compared. Not an accurate test but imo the testing for those measurements is never going to be perfect because of the human element. So basically it's more feel for me and just how I think they compare. Keep your eye on the neonic flare a standard face extra long handle. The 16mm should be a but more powerful than the volair forza mach 2 16mm and the 14mm prime should play about halfway between the alw 14.3 and 12.7 paddles. In all honesty the prime might be the first hardcore power paddle with a long handle but it has a super low swing weight at 104 but a twist weight of 6.9
If I used a wide body paddle it would be a higher swing weight model for added plow through on ground strokes, serves, and overheads. Swing weight can be good or bad depending on players wants.
Did you test out the monarch control yet?? I thought you said it was arriving in the mail soon. Just wanted to see how much power loss versus the cfc and the mach 2 forza
@@TickleMyPickleball i have the control on order. Currently play with the m2f. I wanted a little more pop and thought that the cfc had the pop/power but not the control.
I mistakenly purchased a Ronbus R2 Pulsar without researching the balance point first. Was surprised how head heavy it was, coming from using balanced paddles. Trying to decide between these - is the Mach 2 Forza balanced evenly?
@LearnAtMyExpense It has a 114 swingweight .For a widebody that's a bit higher than most but it does give it more power and 114 isn't bad. I didn't think it was head heavy but I guess that's subjective.
Thank you for a review of wide-bodies. A little feedback; the action on screen was really distracting. i would rather see you and/or the paddle. Indeed the lack of any image of the paddles when you introduce each is a miss; it makes the review harder to follow.
Appreciate the feedback but unfortunately this is just the style we like to go with on our channel. We aren't experienced with video editing and prefer to show gameplay of the paddles being used while we talk over it. Maybe in the future if we can find a video editor to work with we can incorporate different styles but as of right now this will be the style we use
