Jk3 pro looks absolutely insane. It would be great to have a high performance paddle after using a 20 dollar Walmart paddle🤣. With the new release of this paddle, this seems like it hit everything a player would like.
The pro on the J3k is getting a lot more love than the j2k pro version, which most people preferred the standard J2k over. It makes my purchase decision for the standard shape more confusing! I'm leaning towards the J3k pro over the standard because while the regular has more power, this can easily be achieved with the pro by adding weight to it.
The j3k pro seems like the better paddle for me. I like to add weight to all my paddles so it won’t be too heavy with a nice sw and tw. Also the wide body give more room to hit without hitting frame
A standard-shaped paddle with extra power is very appealing. I'm loving the thought of trying out extra pop with the 16mm feel of the Pro. The lower static/swing weight allows for weighted tape, so that's a plus, too.
I love a good control paddle and the J3K pro sounds like a paddle after my own pickleball heart haha the best of both worlds with the power it can generate.
I'd prefer the Pro because it seems easier to customize. My grip setup is pretty simple, but I definitely want room to add tungsten before the paddle gets too heavy.
Thanks for your review Mathew! That J3K Pro sounds right up my alley! I like the standard paddles. Playing with PIKKL Hurricane Pro now. I’ve added similar weight plus some at 12 o’clock since it’s lighter than this. Having the standard model stability plus more power from the J3K Pro would benefit my game for sure!
TY! for the review and yes a lot of the other paddle pods are reviewing the Honolulu paddles and they reviews are all positive. I would love to put the J3 pro through it's paces on the court. 🏓
I love this paddle and the Honolulu Pickleball company so so so so much! Best paddle covers on the market to cover some of the best paddles I’ve had a chance to play with as of late! Thank you for giving these a great review! I’ve been wanting to get a standard paddle after seeing the J3K Pro, so I hope I win! 😊
I just bought the J2K and love it! Would love to try the J3K Pro for a more aggressive style at the kitchen! That would allow me to play different styles against different players.
Thanks for the thorough review. My understanding is the Pro versions are more highly recommended for J7K and J3K. The J2K is the only one where the non Pro version shines. At least that's what I learned
I def think it varies player to player! For me, I prefer the J3K Pro and then the non-pro J7K. The J7K Pro is more power than I need for my play style. And then my fave paddle right is the non-pro J2K, but I haven’t played with the Pro version yet.
I just started playing last Wednesday. Ordered the J2K for me and the J2 to gift it yo my brother. I want the J3K Pro, it will make a for a great birthday gift for my dad.
I'm feeling the Pro version because of the Kevlar composite offering more control and having that Pop at the Kitchen Line. All of this in tandem with the points you alluded to in the video.
I like the J3K Pro because I prefer more pop at the kitchen. I think it will take a bit of time to get get used to control the paddle with dinks and resets. Enjoy your review.
Great Review. Have been looking forward to hear more about these paddles from a wider review base. I've really been enjoying my Spartus Apollo, but the J3K sounds really good. I especially like the idea o the Pro version , so you can dial in your weight and feel for your style. J3KPRO!!!
I'd definitely go J3K pro. Love the look of the lower swing weight while still having solid power. I do wonder how it would be going from a pure control paddle (Prism Flash) to a pure power paddle.
Honolulu going all in on Kevlar! Not just hype but performance and durability at good price points. Love the review for the power and pop of the J3K Pro.
I have been playing with my J2K Pro for more than a month and I'm happy with what pop it has given me. I haven't play with standard shape for a l ong time so I'm not sure how this will work for me but I think I'll like the 6 inch grip. I'll go with the J3K Pro here because it seems to give better control which is what I want. 😎
Dang this paddle looks great lol, especially the sword and shield pro. I like the width, its thicker than my paddle and I bet it will give a lot more control. I haven't tried another of different ones but I might just have to get me one of these lol.
I play with the J2K Pro and love it but the extra room on the handle for a two-handed backhand on the J3K Pro seems like a great option! I love the pop of the Pro versions.
Great review! Short and sweet. I have an Apollo and I love it but it's leaving me with more to desire in the power category. I went from an elongated shape to the Apollo and am loving the change! I would choose the J3K to get that extra power!
I would like to get my hands on the J3K Pro to see how it fits my playstyle. I started playing 3 months ago and am in the process of find the "right" paddle for me.
Good video. One thing - the Spartus Apollo is a standard shape with full Kevlar face that’s been in production for a few months. But there aren’t many paddles in this particular spec! My pref would be the J3K to see how a power widebody plays. Thanks for the good content.
I have a control paddle and I would love to add a J3K Pro paddle to my bag! I really want to try a PRO version of the Honolulu brand. Thanks for your great reviews and giveaways! Keep picklin!!!!
Both of these sound like great paddles. I switched from standard shape paddles (GB CX14) a while back to hybrids to get a little extra power. I'm excited about these J3 paddles though and would love to tryout the J3K Pro based on your review.
