All the Inquisitor sabers are pretty cool, especially Marrok's now. The one thing that set this apart for me personally was the ability to split it into 2 sabers. Mine just arrived yesterday (Tuesday) and the Asteria board isnt as fancy as some of the higher end boards, but it's still pretty cool and looks awesome!
Another awesome fantastic review of reva lightsaber looks excellent has always keep collecting your light saber 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻may the force be with you all star wars fans the force is strong with this one saber life
Mine just came in yesterday. I agree the short blades are enough, makes it easier to handle. Weird thing about mine is the "i am a Jedi like my father before me" sound font has a red blade style rather than the green! Going to have to learn how to correct that...and maybe do a couple other mods as most of the blades are red and Id like a variety. LOVE the Ahsoka theme and blade
I think this can all be changed in the Asteria settings. I probably changed my colour while playing around with it and saved it as a new preset! - such a great saber though!!! 💯
I haven't picked up this hilt yet, even though it does look awesome. I have the 2nd Sister and maybe 90% of the other UW/TPS hilts. I'm really looking for a Graflex and "The Lord" (Count Dooku) to be updated released.
This saber is awesome, especially that it splits into two halves, but I think it’s too big. The grand inquisitor one is much smaller. A smaller lightsaber that could still split into two would be the ultimate inquisitor lightsaber! Not to mention spinning :)
@@doug896 I like this length for double bladed sabers tbh but your height might also effect your choice. I’m relatively short so this length suits me fine.
Their hilts are gorgeous. I have many of them. There are two major disadvantages, however. For every Asteria heart you buy, they put the same fonts on every saber, whether they are appropriate for a given saber or not. Second, contrary to what is advertised, adding fonts is not simply a "Drag and Drop" process. Although many font makers are now including Asteria versions of their fonts, when you add them, you still have to set blade effects manually for each font, e.g., you have to set them for blaster, clash etc. individually. This is quite tedious. You can only change colors on the fly, but not blade effects. Although in the newest software update (v. 109) you can now add preons, you cannot add pstoffs. Also music tracks are put in one folder in the root directory, not in individual fonts. To get to a particular music track you have to cycle through all the others. As a result, the Asteria board is far inferior compared to the GHV3 or the CFX. The Pach Store should make a board that does justice to their beautiful hilts.
To be honest, that is much the same as any custom saber brand. Other companies hilts usually come preinstalled with similar fonts unless specified at checkout and require the same about of work to install. Hopefully UW will constantly improve the Asteria firmware to include all the features seen in Proffie and GH boards but until then you get the benefit of paying less for it 😂. As a collector and owning over 100 Sabers you soon tire of these gimmicks anyway and just want a great looking hilt. I personally couldn’t care less about the font customisation as they are mostly just displayed and the Asteria’s offer enough for me.
@@saber_life >> require the same about of work to install. I don't agree. For example, I have a number of CFX sabers and adding fonts can be done either directly on the SD card, or through the micro USB port if there is one. While I agree that most companies have a set of stock fonts, adding new fonts on say, CFX, is much, much easier. (Proffie is another story, which is why I don't buy Proffie sabers.) I've added fonts on Asteria, GHV3, and CFX. The last two are much easier than the Asteria. >> I personally couldn’t care less about the font customisation as they are mostly just displayed and the Asteria’s offer enough for me. Here I think we just have different tastes.
@@UltimateWorksSabers Very nice. I see now the Asteria is updated to now use Proffie fonts. I haven't quite gotten the file banks set up correctly to add new fonts, but I did get a new Asteria Heart that has good fonts on it to use as a template. I'm almost completed the process of updating all my Asteria equipped hilts. After that, I'm going to try to make my own font bank set ups.
Maybe it’s a dumb question but how do you effortlessly go through all the fonts? Got mine today and I’m trying to figure out button controls just by watching ur video
@@saber_life but if you modified it & you sent it off to a friend of yours they can make it work with the right parts & then you can reboot it on RU-vid again to recommend me on your RU-vid comment video my brother ?
I was bummed to hear that Hasbro got pressured by stupid haters into not producing the saber, I'm glad somebody else took up the responsibility and did it.
@@josemartinezz9152 that was one of the factors contributing to the fact that Hasbro never made this lightsaber. The other reason being that they were having a hard time making it sturdy. However, I'm sure Hasbro could have made it started enough to use. But seeing as people complained about the character to no end because she's a woman or something stupid like that, Hasbro never made the toy.
@@Bored_Overthinker i mean me personally i didnt like the character at all it dont got anything to with race like people have told me i just didnt like the way she was written out but i loved the light saber i thought it was bad ass
