Great boat - had one for 4 years in Australia. 15 hp Yamaha 2 stroke... 30 mph... fast, quiet riding, dry, ultra stable.

That is a sweet little boat! It looks like it's probably way more stable than a Jon boat or something like that. You could put one of those Minn Kota Ulterras on there and then it would have auto launch, spot lock, and all the other bells and whistles. Great video!

The bottom drain holes are for condensation that builds up inside the hull. The hot sun on top, and the cooler water cause this. It is normal in all polyethylene boats & kayaks, as the inside of the hull can not breath. Just drain after every use.

I like it but for at least 2k cheaper... molded Pedal kayaks are getting around 1k made with similar methods/materials, and a brand new john boat or used fills this niche much cheaper (though you can still splurge there if you want), and ya it'd have to come with the trailer at that price for me to entertain the idea.... Great concept but I believe nearly same thing can be accomplished much cheaper. Look what Lifetime can make and for the great prices... when they get around to a peddle tamarack or johnboat thingy they'll make bank from all us poor people shopping at walmart.

Plus you have to buy their proprietary boat trailer @ $1,300 too. They will not warranty any type of hull damage if you use another trailer not made by them.

Had a boat like this in the 1970's from Sears , built by Shakespeare. Add on TV had a guy cut it in half with a chainsaw and front and back went their separate ways. Really cool boat.

If anyone is looking into one of these boats just be aware that at 4:10 the rep talks about how there is no water that will leak into the hull and that the side drains are mainly there for wiring. This is not accurate as there are several leak points from the outside to the inside. For example the rod holders have a drain hole which drains into the hull. If you store the boat with the hull bung plugs inserted (ie in the water) they will fill the inner hull with water and the boat can sink as it can start taking waves over the sides (which also go into the rod holders and put more water into the hull). You need to get the boat out of the water and open the side drains to empty the boat hull as there is no bildge pump from the factory. If you live in a heavy rain area like Florida (as I do) rain water will get in the hull (not just from the rod holders) and over time will cause the boat to sit deeper and deeper in the water until it is sitting on the bottom. Great boat other than that! I wish you all would have done a video of how you all installed all the railblaza items. For example did you back the screws with washers or just screw into the hull? What sealer did you use? How about a fish finder transducer install.

Hmm... If most customers take it out on the water by themselves, the Hobie PA 360 is a much better purchase. "Out of the box", it has pedal-powered 360' propulsion, can be loaded on the back of a truck (with extender), can be loaded on top, or trailered, and may be equipped with an electric motor This little boat is cool, but once you add an outboard, accessories, and trailer... Storing it is another concern. It also looks quite uncomfortable, with no visible padding. At this point, the Bote Rover is even a better choice, again, based on price, versatility, transportation and storage.

@@richardp.228 Depends on the boat. You make a fair point, if we're talking about a skiff But this polycraft is a plastic box with a keel. A Hobie PA 360 has far more versatility. You can mount an electric motor, or outboard, but you can also have full range of movement by pedal, and transportation is easy. Plus, no need for registration (depending on state) I'd rather have a Sea Doo Fish Pro. Yes, 5x more expensive, but 5x better imho Cheers 😎👍

If this was less than $1000, it would be accurate but for that price, no thanks. These start up company's get an idea, and try to make as much profit as possible. If you have a great product, sell it at a great price, it's great for everyone, and it will sell itself. But if you make an inexpensive product, sell it like some designer bullshit, yeah.. See if this is still around after a few years. Some people will buy it to make a video on it, but it will fail.

Nice boats but they are way over priced, being that your only buying a Hull, for over 3 grand should come with more attachments, but to spend that much on a hull is ridiculous. Why not make them more affordable, by the time you put all the accessories on it, you could have put a very nice down payment on a real bass boat, maybe at 1700,00 for just the Hull and I bet they will sell like candy!!!!! Nice boats though, and after seeing the price of this boat, I can only imagine how high the bigger models are......Good luck on your global sales.

I have a lot of questions for this guy. I went to nautical ventures in Florida and all the new ones were in baddd condition. Scratch’s dents loose handles and someone took sand paper to some of the surfaces. There’s no where else to buy this but that dealer alone. Me and my wife want one but it’s in bad condition and they don’t finance these! Please help

This bloke got no idea, the two drain plugs on the back port and star port side are for drainage for water because the two rod holders at the back go through into inside of the boat so ever if it rains the water will go through the rod holders and fill up the boat with water that why the drainage plugs are there, so I just put kayak plugs into the rod holders stop water getting in but you can change over holders to ones which have caps on them

He flat out lied, there will be water that gets into the hull. I have two rotomolded SOT kayaks and I need to drain them on occasion. Not much, but that’s what the drain plugs are for. Reality, anything you mount, any screws or well nuts will leak over time

@@AliexFolgueira the bottom scuppers are for draining the hull in the event that there is water in there. Saying so, doesn’t mean that the boat is prone to getting water into the hull. I would be irritated if I were buying one and there weren’t scuppers. I feel like the salesman (you?) didn’t want to admit that is what the scuppers are for. So he said it was for routing wire for a fish finder. I was just calling BS. Not knocking the boat. It’s a remarkable design. The unsinkability of a fiberglass hull without the maintenance headaches (Ie: gel coat)

@@AliexFolgueira it’s a plastic boat man. You have a need for more buoyancy add foam. But to entertain your question. You can stand anywhere on it and not flip. + it’s only 115 lbs For 3k look at the 12’ offerings. Come on man. We’re comparing prices. I just scrolled down through the comments. I’m not the only person saying the same thing. I’m strictly hitting on the point of it being expensive not “Ultra cheap!” As the titles lead me to believe. Take “ultra cheap” out and it will be received better IMO.

Looks like a kid's boat, way to expensive, and those plastic threaded hull drain plugs will leak. Also, how is it unsinkable with those plugs. Forget a drain plug and your whole hull is full.
