This unit grinds rice and lentils into a batter for making dosa, idli or vada. Wet Grinder is for grinding soaked items like rice or lentils. It’s not designed to be used for dry lentils or rice. This Ultra also comes with an attachment to make dough. This is the 110 Volt model and the capacity is 1.25 liters. It’s 75 watts. The detachable drum is stainless steel. It’s 7 inches tall and 8 inches diameter. These are the conical grinding stones and the plastic wiper. Included is the manual, a cover, spatula and a few replacement parts - Wiper, Collar pad, Sleeve & Housing spring, batter cleaning system. The weight is 10.6kg or 23.4 lbs. You can buy a coconut scraper attachment separately to use with this unit. 16 inches across 10 height 9.5 deep
You can grind grated coconut in this unit to make coconut chutney, only grated coconut not pieces of coconut.
The manual lists the minimum and maximum amounts of rice and dhal you can grind in this unit. Rice minimum is 106 g and max is 781g. Dhal minimum is 41 g and maximum is 195g. The soaking time and amount of water to be added is also listed.
