I've been looking forward to you releasing this video all day.Now let's pray that Arc System Works eventually releases Full Power/Burning Ultimate Warrior/Unleashed/Limit Break Jiren and SSB Evo Vegeta along side Majin Vegeta as the latter's pallete swap with different costumes/clothes,intros,outros but the same ultimate move i.e Final Explosion which functions like Android 17's self destruct in Majin's case and as a buffed version of Majin Buu's Angry Explosion in SSB Evo's case
Problem is, any UI goku (assuming his opponent isn’t sparked) can just hard spam 2H during the cinematic since either the super connects...or he gets a combo. I’d honestly rather take the super damage
Am I the only one who think that hair colour changes need to stop in dragon Ball, I mean it's getting foking ridiculous, it's been ages since we got a proper fight in base or ssj form, everything there's a fight they go boom ssj blue 😂, that's the reason why I love mistic Gohan form so much cause it's his base form but much much much stronger, and when I saw ui omen/sign Goku I was so happy, finally we got a form where the hairs don't change colo....oh wait(gray hairs 🥲) like stop, I wish there's a way to delete ssj red blue so that base, kaioken, ssj 1,2,3 are used often in the manga/anime
I'm worried we'll get another GT Goku case, where he'll be so broken that all other characters coming out after him will get shadowed and forgotten. Remember Janemba, Gogeta and even S Broly.
dude, you forgot about being able to jump cancel the down-heavy in the air even when it's a launcher! Also, (and im not sure this is true) im pretty sure you can delay the first hit of the down-heavy on the ground so goku stays floating for a second but im not sure if thats true... but the thing about the jump cancel is!
> Goku is immune to projectiles while walking Is that a reference to him lolnope-ing Toppo's justice flash while walking towards Jiren? That's hilarious
I’m actually surprised that UI Goku was easy to use. I thought he’d be difficult to master like Hit but I was able to main him when I got him two days early of his release. He’s surprisingly the one Goku out of all of the other Gokus in the game that I can pull great combos off with.
UI Goku might be the first Goku to have a beam besides a Kamehameha. His lv1 super is an overhead beam and his command grab is a Vegeta style beam. Just a fun observation.
Super useful vid! I'm super late to the game as I started playing around 2 months ago and only have about 60 hrs in the game. UI is the first DLC character I bought, just 3 days ago and I'm glad I found this. Really practical listing and explanation of moves. The special move list in the game lists his alt. lvl 1 as having a different input glad to see what it is and how it works now.
I know I’m probably in the minority here. But I’d love to get Evolved SSGSS Vegeta where he plays completely different than all his other versions in the game similarly to how ui Goku plays drastically different than all of his other versions. Not to mention it’s be more than just Vegeta with slightly darker hair color. He has the god aura around him, the same eyes ultra instinct gets, and is noticeably more buff.
UI Goku can double side switch by himself with 1/2 a bar. In the corner, if you combo 2M into 214 H and when he touches the floor, hold crouch, slightly delay 2L and he’ll hit the opponent when they fall behind him, then spam auto combo and he’ll side switch again, and then do the usual combo into 236 M and bam, SKD in the corner
He reminds me of a super optimized mix of Hit and Jiren together between the fireball, the command grab, the great defensive options, in the end he's probably gonna be played one of two ways; extremely defensively or heavy in the mixups and always looking for a two touch kill. Anyone agree?
No lie this is a really good breakdown of a character in a fighting game. I’m a gamer but growing up i never got into fighting games because of the technical ceiling it has i didn’t have the patience to sit and learn the i-frames, combo resets, reversals, etc so naturally i stayed away from them and sucked whenever i touch one but recently I’ve grown an interest in this game in particular something about it seems really cool to me plus i am a dragon ball fan so i decided what the hell n’ bought (mainly after seeing the UI Goku trailer lol yes yes i know) the game. I’ve purchased a few characters (UI Goku, SSJB Gogeta and both SSJB Goku/Vegeta) for starters i like all of there combos, fighting styles n’ overall playability. I want to get good at this game and fully enjoy it for what it is but honestly i don’t know where to start.
Go to story mode training mode or even the dojo to learn it some tips: start with ssj/ssb goku these 2 are some of the more easier characters to learn the game. If you play gogeta, be careful about his 3rd light attack for his auto combo cause someone can do a down heavy attack to damage you and for ui goku, don't do his dodge all the time as it can be countered by a vanish attack ( y/b at the same time on xbox or triangle/circle for ps4.)
Ui goku intro is nuts how do you get all that energy from the galaxy and just be like alright im ready to fight lmfaoooo i wouldnt even attempt to fight a man that does that lol
Medium flip can be comboed from as a corner switch or from assists like Phantom Assault too. Midscreen or otherwise with Phantom Assault, which is super cool by the way, which is why I picked up Janemba. They’re BFF’s.
the fact that you have to make a 16-minute video to explain this character shows that he's advanced great video tho, efficient and you went through all about the character (atleast I hope, if not he has alooooot of tools lmao)
