Nuclear Throne is a post-apocalyptic roguelike-like top-down shooter. Not 'the final hope of humanity' post-apocalyptic, but 'humanity is extinct and mutants and monsters now roam the world' post-apocalyptic. Fight your way through the wastelands with powerful weaponry, collecting radiation to mutate some new limbs and abilities. All these things and more you could do if only you were good at this game. Can you reach the Nuclear Throne?

Yeah when I played modded I felt like I was back playing the game on a Nintendo switch back when COVID kept all of us indoors again, all I would do was some schoolwork then immediately start playing the game. It was the only reason I missed 2020 (though I wouldn’t repeat 2020 again) that childlike giddiness retired to me.

That's not a new way to open the crown vault, that's the old way to open the crown vault before it got changed a little bit and also got a new sprite. That's also why a bunch of the character unlocks are different, vlambeer didn't bother with considering how and where each character would be unlocked until the game was mostly complete.

ive played this mod before if you die on the first level you get an unlock and also maybe they balanced it but i remember that the sheep is really freaking good

There are a few mods that rely on update 19 because they switched from gamemaker 8.1 to gamemaker studio in update 21 (update 20 was the big dog april fools update) and that switch made it harder to mod (though now we have ntt for that).
