good video thanks, what about degassing the plastic ? I have been hand injecting transparent colors for a few yrs & they come out pristine & completely free of air bubbles, my process is to add dye to cold plastic, heat in microwave to 355, add whatever pearls or glitter & mix in, then into the vacuum chamber to get rid of air, a quick reheat in the microwave then hand inject...I have recently bought a mini shooting star, the 1st two times I've had a tonne of air had to remelt & hand inject to get them done properly, my process for the mini both times was ...add colorant to cold plastic, degas in vacuum chamber, pour into shooting star & heat with mixers on low to 315f , then prime the preheated injector just as you showed to make sure your not drawing air in.....both times my baits are full of air, how do you get rid of the air while its in the pot warmed up ? I didnt even add glitter or pearls to the plastic & there was soo many micro bubbles in my baits....
Which brand of plastic are you using? I have 0 issues with our brand of plastic. If you are getting air bubbles it is either the plastic, or you are drawing air into your injector while drawing plastic in. Check all your o-rings and fittings. The big brass nuts should be just over hand tight.
