Introduction

In recent years, more and more manufacturers have launched many different ultra-thin GaN chargers, including realme, TEGIC, and Baseus. ChargerLAB also recently got an ultra-thin 65W GaN charger from AOHi.
Today, we will take apart it to see its internal structure and how it is made so thin.

Safety.... If you plug something that shouldn't be plugged, it will quickly disable or not even enable at all the output

USB Type-C ports are not allowed to output power (according to the spec) until they either detect a pulldown resistor for legacy USB mode or communications on the CC1 or CC2 pins. So VBUS MOSFET keeps the power off until a device requests power.
