Ultra Vomit is a french parodic metal band. There are a lot of french references or others kind of musical references in their songs. For example there are some Rammstein (their riffs are Rammstein-like and they're kinda singing in german), Exodus and Marc Lavoine references which is a popular french singer. They have already played at the Hellfest festival.

Ultra Vomit are famous in France. They know each other since teens and have been playing metal since that. not stupid, not serious and good sound metal with a lot of laught They are not comedians, they are just metal lover with beer and laugh, the spirit of metal in some way.They don't have any specific style except to have fun with good metal sound. They mainly sing in french on theirs albums and I think it's difficult to understand because of lot of french culture references or metal music. They make of mockery of everything but with a lot of respect to metal they love.

The singer is a fucking genius, able to adapt to every kind of metal singer.

In France "Camtar" is kind of a slang word to talk about trucks, so "KAMMTHAAR" is just a made up word that in French sound like "camtar" but by the way they wrote it it looks like it's a German word, so the whole song is pretty much about a man's love for his truck xD

The most difficult think when you listen to Ultra Vomit is not to laugh. Glad to see they make laugh a non-french speaking guy.

they're massive in France. Unfortunately, a lot of their humour resides on french culture references and metal references. You can get the metal parody but you only catch on half of the humour. But it's so good that's enough. They've parodied maximum the hormone (takoyaki), Gojira (Calogira), Pantera (Pink Pantera), AC/DC (Jesus), etc... And they nail absolutely everything, even like black metal and grindcore

Ultra vomit is the definition of ultra high effort parody. But goddamn it is funny

To be honest, I'm not sure we can say the band is famous in France. It's a cult band but famous I'm not sure. They're not famous like Gojira could be. Since their last album they have more success. They now play sometimes in really big places like the main stage of the Hellfest festival, l'Olympia or le Zenith de Paris in november 2019. They also now have real video clips like Kamthaar, Evier Metal or Katoyaki. But they often say they are an "amateur band", in spirit at least. I think the drummer still has a real work during the week. But they are not comedians. They are musicians playing very seriously things that are not. If you speak french. If you know a little about french culture you should really go see them in live if you can. They are amazing. Their shows are really joyfull with a lot of interraction with the audience and you could have the chance to see their famous song pipi vs caca, which is a little song about pee and shit where the audience perform a wall of chiasse (which is a wall of death but with shit). Or you could see the drummer singing some Lady Gaga.

Kammthaar is a french slang which means "Truck", because the real word in french is "Camion"

Ultra Vomit is a band i listened a lot with my friends when i was young. It's one of the band that make you laught and move your head at the same time, they are precious to French metal heads :) Also, please react to The Contortionist - Monochrome (pensive) ! I don't think there's a music video for the song, but they also did a parody of Maximum the Hormone with a song titles "Takoyaki" (yes, it's about the food). I ended up laughing tears when listened to that xD

I never expected to find an another ISU fan who got interested in Ultra Vomit, to me they're like elder brothers of BABYMETAL try "I like to vomit" "Gremlins at the gates" or "Musashimaru" you'll get to know what I mean, maybe

I couldn't hold it. What are those lyrics? My favorite is "In der Nacht du scheinst, zum Frühstück bis der Krieg !" In the night your shining, for breakfast until the war! While it's *almost* making sense in English, in German it does not at all. There is a verb missing in the second part, so I don't get it at all. But it's sure funny and to be honest, the real Rammstein lyrics don't say that much more =D
