You'll probably like this bug from Fallout New Vegas, where killing a story character would cause their naked corpse to be dropped from a helicopter into a battle at the end of the game. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-X9fUer72LXs.html
i think i just got what happenned: when he's at 50% hp the game launches the animation and instead of teleporting him to the next place it copies the npc's stats in a variable a single frame before launching the teleportation sfx and deleting the original npc in the video, you can see the health bar lowering to like 2% before the last shot kills him and this is the exact hp the boss later shows up with i think that if herb killed the npc a frame quicker he could've killed the swordsmachine
Imagine if you killed it previously (or in the secret encounter) there would just be a little text box down the bottom that says something like: “Feels like something’s missing.”
Hakita actually wanted to do that (minus text box) but he thought that if people who killed 0-2 SM got to that room and just missed out on the intended experience it'd confuse them. Would be a great way to remedy that, with the text box, and add it in as a fun little thing for those who did the secret encounter.
What do you want? Easter eggs inside of your easter eggs on top of other easter eggs? This game already has 3-6 easter eggs per map with an additional easter egg per layer as well as another easter egg when you P all levels. Shoot. . . the game could have an easter egg if you kill the Swordsmachine in the first encounter. Wait. . actually it does. It's a lore easter egg. Swordsmachine repairs itself using other machines. This is why it doesn't have a uniform look. The fact that Swordsmachine will spawn with a minimum amount of health on the second encounter is in and of itself an easter egg, because it makes sense with the lore. You should just go make a game yourself that only contains easter eggs.
@@MrHoodlin you know the game is called ultrakill and going overboard isnt a bad thing jesus i only just said a suggestion and you sound like i was ganna go to hakitas house and delete him out off existence
I love how it still appears with some health despite having already died, implying it nursed itself back to a sliver of health to fight you only to get one-shot.
"Oh I've already killed Swordsmachine early so he won't appear now" Boss bars appear: SWORDSMACHINE "AGONY" SWORDSMACHINE "TUNDRA" SWORDSMACHINE "SILVER" And they all have light purple hp
Everyone saying how funny it'd be if it spawned dead already What if it had literally a sliver of health and it got visibly damaged when it teleported in? Like it spawns maybe 10 cm off the floor it makes contact the health bar goes orange, it makes the mechanical noise it makes when it dies, and falls over. You saw this thing die before, get back up, only to teleport to that room and die of fall damage after all it took to get back on its feet
very, very late reply but that is a hilarious idea he just fucking trips since cancerous rodent and druid knight exists hakita could've used calebcity's death noise for it
Oh nice I got it a while ago too But everything I did was having 50 kills in 0-3 on video and telling this fact in the #speedrun chat Thanks for a good video though I appreciate your work
Don’t know if this is known, but you can do a thing I call whiplash cancel by pressing R while the whiplash is out, which can probably be used for certain in the end of 4-4 for speedrunning, or maybe in the upcoming Layer 5. If there’s gonna be a whiplash video, you should include this, if it’s not already known
i wonder what would happen if you kill swordsmachine in 0-2 when hes running past the door on the first room or when hes fighting a horde of enemies behind the pipe we can go through or when the part he kills 3 strays in the hydraulic press room
