The main reason sharpshooter does crazy damage is because of how much it bounces. You’re basically getting 4 piercer ultra-ricoshots in 1 shot, not to mention doing a 4 coin setup with it quadruples the damage.
I can relate to the performance really tanking around wave 50. The radiant enemies make it so there's less enemies and that the single enemies are harder to kill, so hopefully wave 50+ won't tank my frames. I'm loving this update, but I still need to get back my record.
Somehow reached wave 63 I think on violent, really lucky tho, didn't meet many ferryman and friendly fire helped a lookout and yea frames no longer tank
i love your videos because they're always like, normal and infomative until they suddenly become hilariously deranged, like the sudden "rip=off" segment or the part of the sawblade video where you just kept going on and on about everything being like a sawblade, perfect combo of information and entertainment
I _think_ the update slightly increased some spawnrates for some enemies in cybergrind, because I have had to deal with double the amount of virtues, ferrymen and insurrectionists. Thank u hakita, very cool. Edit: also double the HMs because more spawn spots. Double the friendly fire, I guess
wtf I had no idea they added a variation or changed cybergrind!! I didn't know they changed the biggest part of the update! I thought they just changed the tip of the day in 0-2!!!
like glud said it's good for instakilling maurices AND most of the time it should get you to ULTRAKILL rank so if you wanna spam the whiplash be sure to instakill the funny rock and even if they don't die and you're at low health you can take them out with a slab, cannonball and nails
i was just minding my own business surfing the ultrakill algorithm and i find a video with a Kyanta reference, i know i've finally arrived at my destination.
Imo, the best change is that the sharpshooter gives players a reliable, skill-based way to deal with mindflayer shots. Now, I don't feel like mindflayers are 10x the threat that every other enemy is.
@@gLud3have skill issue so it's the inverse, mindflayer instakills too hard for me, chaotic combat situations even more so. sharpshooter at least gives me a window to fuck them up easier.
I am not very good at the game but using the bouncing shot in Cybergrind will often just cause 80% of the enemies to explode because of random shit and it makes you feel like a GOD
I've played around with both, and i think i have a setup. For stages and the cybergrind i'll run regular sharpshooter (more spins if i miss) and for bosses the slab. Damn this gun is fun to mess around with. Also, thanks for the tips, love the video.
The best thing about the slab seems to be its nutty damage on single enemies, but I don't like chunking so much boss health that I don't actually get to fight it so I think I'll stick to the standard for now.
I feel like it won’t get nerfed as the weapons damage is super situational like the rail coin is more consistent I feel and in replaying levels with it equipped it isn’t something that I abuse because it s potential as a weapon is based on where it is used. Also the reason it acts like that is due to it having infinite pierce but it acts like the slab when shooting the coin causing the weapon to hit an enemy multiple times while also coming back from a ricochet and doing that again untill the projectile stops
Whats sad is with setups the gun can do massive damage, but without it, its not that useful on its own, unlike the other revolvers. So in order to balance it for bosses, they need to make it weaker in other situations. I feel like the best solution would give most bosses, especially prime bosses, a resistance to ricochets off of coins, since that seems to do the most damage.
I can't find a use for the sharpshooter that I can perform consistantly without being killed in the process. yes, I am a person who is still hasn't P ranked P-2 yet, those Fucking ferry men.
i mean they could've made the red variant of the revolver squalls gunblade from final fantasy 8, but noooooooooo, they just had to add a ripoff *loud rip sfx* of that one revolver the cat guy uses in the snake eating mecha game smh smh smh
Just can't watch anything without getting Sisyphus eh? I gotta stop watching Ultrakill videos until i beat him. I know what he looks like (People can't keep him out of their damn thumb-nails), but thankfully nothing else save for something about a Cerberus? Anyway. Time to grind Minos....After the revolver gets nerfed, anyway.
