[ULTRAKILL] the brainrot child explains how to P rank P-2 in simple terms 

I've experimented a lot with P-2, and I see people recommend the strats I use now, so I'm going to make a part 2 showing the better ones.

As a person who has never played Ultrakill, I understood everything.

i'll be honest if theres one level i won't try to P-Rank in Ultrakill, is goddamn P-2. i will preserve my sanity on this one

For the cerb at 1:18 you could just instakill it with a cannonball and preserve your railcannon charge

Pro tips from Sisyphus himself: 1) You can place freezeframe rockets pointed at spawnpoints of Cerberuses before wezeer room to deal extra damage. 2) You can core nuke the first mindflayer arena right after wezeer room to not deal with Schisms and deal extra damage to Swordsmachine (do not forget about saws!). 3) You can simply +CANNONBALL the Cerberus in the hallway instead of wasting your railcannon charge on him and keep that later. 4) In second mindflayer arena you should. 1 - Place saws when Swordsmachines spawns to deal them a huge amount of damage. 2 - Interrupt Sentry's aiming so you can't die extremely fast like an idiot. 3 - You can actually focus on Maurices instead of Virtues, because they don't posses much of a threat if you are mobile and not stupid enough to be not able to dodge them. 5) You can simply knock Sentry out of platform in red corridor for it to die from environmental hazard, and Maurice can be killed simply by shooting a Sharpshooter at him. 6) You can actually +PROJECTILE BOOST the stalker in stalker room to boost it way up, so it couldn't sandify enemies too easily. 7) You can just spam saws in stalker room on the second wave of enemies to kill them quicker. Remember to +CANNONBALL Cerberuses! 8) Try to parry Hideous Hook to deflect it right into Hideous Mass to deal A TON of damage to it, and you can +FINISH OFF him by railcoining. 9) Don't be shy, and use ALL OF YOUR RESOURCES on Panopticon to deal as much as possible damage to it. And try to be around the Flesh Panopticon, because it helps a lot from it's attacks. 10) You don't actually need to stack so many saws during the Sisyphus intro. Instead, empty both of your saws, throw 4 coins into the air and shoot them with charged slab revolver. It's gonna deal around the same amount of damage. Don't forget to spam saws, use everything on Sisyphus to kill it quicker (SRS, pump shotgun, railcoining and etc) and spam slides + dash from it's attacks in the right moment. And done! You're welcome.

I heavily recommend precharging sharp shooter at 3:43 and hitting the Maurice’s volley with it, kills the maurice/sentries instantly without having to risk getting close with a whiplash+it’s faster, maybe a little bit less style I’m not sure Also if a hideous mass harpoon gets stuck at you swap to knuckle blaster and hit it once, instantly removes it

well the sound matches up with the video, but oh my GOD THE FRAMERATEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE loadout was : slab piercer + sharpshooter, normal marksman. both shotguns. both alt nailguns. all railguns. all rockets. all arms.

i also reccomend just overpumping basically everything. first room can be dealt easily by nuke+frozen rocket setup+overpump the remaining ferryman and alive cerbs. overpumps also instakill virtues, but srs combo (charging srs cannon, shooting enemy point black then instantly parrying it back into enemy again) also instakills virtues without the risk of exploding. (also instakills sentries and cerbs). both these things can be hard but shotgun swapping+kunckleblast is good against anything. next, mindflayers can be instakilled using explosives by exploding them as they’re summoning projectiles, launching projectiles back at them killing them. mal rail is easiest because it is instant, no matter the range. finally, hideos mass, if isolated can be killed in like 5 seconds if you shotgun swap+knuckleblast the red part of its belly during mortar fire, trust me it melts lmao and when it reaches second phase jump up and shotgun+knuckle its tail and it kills. anyway, i can almost p-rank p-2. the entire level is easy, but the second i get to sisy i get +69 restart lmao

Honestly this may convince me to do it. I could consistently do the Stalker room but whenever the second mindflayer came in on the skull room I always choke cuz my pants rip open

For me, this video is the holy grail, thank you my brother in chris, also if you look down at the hideous mass's hook you can punch it with the knuckle blaster to unhook yourself.

used the slab piercer + railgun combo for the second area and took the advice of someone who said to use sharpshooter on maurice, p ranked on violent and saved a whole minute compared to my lenient time, tysm man

Not enough people know that you don't really need to whiplash the cannonball, you can just get close to an enemy, hit them with the cannonball and parry it.

For the encounter with the double swordsmachines and the ferryman if you want to heal off them and you aren’t confident in parrying what you can do is play keep away with the stalker, hitting them with the knuckleblaster will knock them far away if they get too close, just make sure to angle your punch up

Pretty good! But I'd say you could do some other things that could help you out more (if you're trying to be fast). Here's what I do: I like to slam storage at the elevator to slide jump to the Weezer room. IN the Weezer room, I like to use a nuke as well as sawtraps. Really kills the Cerbs quickly. The Ferryman uhh....... coin punches Idk. And yes, I do use the railcannon on the Virtues. It's simply just satisfying. In the Mindflayer room, I like to set up a saw trap before the Swordsmachine and stuff spawns. That way, I can make it run into it while PBing to kill it immediately. (Might parry the Mindflayer's projectiles into it as well if I can.) The Sentries I like to use my Sharpshooter to richochet back and forth a bunch on one (or 2 if lucky) of them to do a ton of damage. And if one is left, shotgun swap or smth. The Schisms, I also kinda just do whatever. The blood hall is actually kinda easy. I like to use ANOTHER saw trap so quickly kill the Cerb. (Make sure to use the flaming saw for the incoming Streetcleaners.) If there are still some left, I use Sharpshot alt fire. The 2 Mindflayer room..... just sucks. I like to try and nuke the Sentry to insta-kill it. Then try to just avoid everything coming at me while killing the Swordsmachines. I try to use saw traps if possible. The Virtues can be dealt with using the Railcannon and I usually try to kill them both with one shot. If I dont, I like to just use shotguns and KB. I like to kill the Maurices with KB and shotgun swap after I get on top of them with the Whiplash. After that, I break the idols and the Mindflayers. I try to use my Screwdriver on one if possible to get a lot of damage. (Don't FINISH the room using any Railcannon as it's useful in the next room.) For the Insurrectionists, I actually don't make one die to the void. (Which I might) If you do that, you can throw 4 coins and Railcoin or coin add on the other Insurr. Then just PB for extra fire damage. You and I have the same strat for the 1st bridge except that I like to kill BOTH Maurices before dealing with the Sentry. (I always make to heal off of it before punching it into the walls.) As for the 2nd one, I nuke the room to instantly get rid of the Sentries and water down the Cerbs. Kill the Maurice with that same Whiplash and stuff strat I mentioned and just use rockets and stuff to kill the Cerbs. As for the next room, I do basically the same thing you do. The only differences being that I like to launch the Stalker into the air with PBs or rockets and I like to break the HM idol right after dealing with the Virtues instead of saving for the heal. Evading the attacks isn't that hard. Panopticon is super easy and can easily be done no-hit. I like the use sharpshot to richochet on it a ton, use the cannonball and shoot it after it hits for an extra explosion, etc. You should be at 100 health from the idol from earlier meaing you don't have to worry about the eyes. If Panopticon heals, the Sisyphus cutescene will play automatically. I kinda do the same thing you do for Sisyphus but I don't go as overkill with the saw trap. I also like to try and set up saw traps mid-fight and lead him into them for more damage (which I think you did too Idk). Other than that, coins and parries is all that it is. I recently just got a 6:48 run with 45.3k style P-rank using this strat. I use the exact same loadout except I don't use the Piercer at all. I just don't ever use it and it gets in the way of switching between pistols. If anybody else sees this and wants to try it, go for it. It is an amazing feat Imo.

I almost P-ranked P-2 once but the damn panopticon, aka the only thing in the game that rarely kills me. Kills me..

5:52 You can punch the hideous mass wip out of you by looking straight down (two punches with the feedbacker or one with the knuckleblaster)

This is useful and I like to think that it can’t be improved but then I see you forget about chargebacks and sharpshooter instakill for Maurice. Is it intentional because they aren’t stylish enough or do you just not use them?

just want to let you know that the "shotgun parries" are actually called projectile boosts, shotgun parries are where you parry an enemy by shooting your shotgun

Personally, in the last room before the Panopticon, I prefer to keep the Virtues alive while I fight off the Cerberi and Hideous Mass. See, Virtues are only difficult when they're either enraged, you're in a closed space, or both, at least in my opinion. But here, the space is pretty open, and they don't enrage as long as there are three or more virtues present, so their presence is pretty neglectable. And, of course, since the Stalker sands the Hideous Mass and Cerberi, you can't heal easily off of them, but the Virtues are all the way up in the ceiling, meaning that unless you manage to somehow knock the Stalker all the way up while it is about to detonate, the Virtues should remain unsanded, which makes them basically free blood dispensers provided you have a high enough style meter to negate hard damage. Plus, whiplashing between them is a surprisingly good mobility option, since it completely negates the Hideous Mass' horizontal shockwave and its mortar projectiles due to how high up you are
