The crappie fishing has been excellent this spring, and I believe my choice to fish the Berkley 1" Gulp Minnow has played a big part in my success. The Gulp Minnow mimics a fish's natural forage extremely accurately. The right ultralight setup makes the 1" Gulp Minnow simple and effective to fish. I have caught a wide variety of species on this bait including crappie, bluegill, green sunfish, largemouth bass, saugeye, and catfish. The 1" Gulp Minnow is my go-to lure for catching catfish bait and is also my first choice for any trip when I just want to get a tug on the line and have a bunch of fun. Both the crappie and bluegill were hitting on this bank fishing expedition, and I was glad to get them. I'll be fishing the 1" Gulp Minnow for crappie, bluegill, and anything else that wants to bite all year, and I know I am going to have a blast doing it.
