Fishing the shores of Singapore using Ultralight gear, in search for the coveted Diamond Trevally (Locally called "Chermin"), which are well known for the strong fights and blistering runs that they put up, especially on light tackle.
Hooked and dropped a couple of them the days before, came back for the 3rd straight day for revenge!
I dedicate my first ever RU-vid video to Jen, the love of my life, who woke up early to accompany me on this desperate 3rd attempt for this bucket list fish, after hearing of my defeats the past 2 days. Thank you for accommodating to my hobby (or obsession (?)), sacrificing your sleep, preparing coffee and getting amazing footages the fight.
Also shout out to the masters who gave tips and advice along the way: Kelvin, Sawn, Xi Yuan, Ryan and friends, y'all know who you are.
Tightlines everyone! Let's catch more fishes!
P.S. How I went below the jetty to land the fish is extremely dangerous, do not attempt especially if you're a non-swimmer!
