This resort and the entire area surrounding it is beautiful, the lakes, the golf course, the luxury apartments and houses with the mountains in the background. Its tranquil, relaxing, heavenly. And to imagine that the whole area in Bang Tao was once a abandoned, ugly, dirty tin mine.
Been there. The video is just a taste of what this resort can offer. Probably the very best five-star establishment we've visited (and we've done "more than a few"!). Catering is truly excellent - and it's very easy to come home weighing a bit more than when you left . . . . . . :-)
It's been my good fortune to stay here some seven times, four in the spa sanctuary. It is not only the epitome of luxury, but it rests in the tender embrace of nature in all its abundant, tranquil beauty. There is nothing like waking wrapped in white silk sheets in a glassed-in flowering lotus pond, going outside to hear wafting spa music and receive a private massage in your own Sala by the sparkling lagoon waters, then a first class breakfast with every imaginable selection, and champagne if desired. And that's just to start your day. It's a sanctuary so it's unparalleled peace and it's in Thailand so it's among the kindest, smiling people of the world. The staff here are the greatest people. There can't be a more wonderful place on earth.
i stayed here 3 years ago when i visited phuket....didn't know it was a luxurious brand.the coolest part of the bedroom is the blinds and curtains were powered and had remote controllers
Laguna location is the best lifestyle spot of Phuket Island, 5-6 hotels that connect you with nature and 100% beachfront properties. Most Phuket other location feature a road in front of hotel.
Oh my god! only you can make this work art with your camera! seems i'm there. Any interesting wildlife at the spot? keep on travelling abd sharing! greets from Mex.
I stay here because I love Thailand but I'm sick of the massive beach resorts you find leading from the top of Malaysia to the bottom of Myanmar and don't get me started on some of those resorts on Koh Samui. I used to stay at the Haven in Khao Lak it's a great resort but it's just too damn big. What I look for in a resort, somewhere that has all the necessary features and more but isn't too big because I love just having moments on the beach either by myself, with my wife or with my three boys. But at massive resorts you never get that. You try to get some time away from everyone but you end up in a sea of people and the moment dies. That's how I came across the Banyan Tree. Since then my family and I have become frequent visitors. In fact a couple of years ago my wife and I were going to Jakarta for business we had 1 week there but the business only lasted three days. Neither of us liked Jakarta so on the second day we decided to stuff seeing Jakarta and just go to the Banyan Tree. Thank you AirAsia for being so cheap. That was a truly wonderful few days that I will never forget.
I have stayed at Banyan Tee Samui before I started my RU-vid channel. There's a review on my blog: theluxurytravelexpert.com/2014/10/01/banyan-tree-samui/
