I am proud of myself for becoming a fan of the Ultraman series. I just completed watching the first half of Dyna, but this animated flick is worth watching.
When I was a kid, I used to liked Ultraman a lot. I even make a huge doodle, like huge huge (about 6 feet? I had to climb our sofa to make that doodle) on the wall with crayons. With time though, my love for Ultraman kinda dissipates, I didn’t even remember anything about Ultraman. When this movie got recommended to me, I tried to watch it for the nostalgia. Turns out, it reignited my love for Ultraman, and I cannot be prouder of my younger self to choose Ultraman as my childhood hero
I absolutely loved the movie,It would be so awesome to see more animated kaiju movies similar or not so similar to this, especially for kaiju like gamera and(my goat)Godzilla,I think this movie made me an ultraman fan too
Godzilla and Gamera DEFINITELY deserves it.Godzilla deserves something better than the animated trilogy and Singular Point,I could really see a movie where Godzilla is looking for Minilla or something like that. With Gamera,though...I don't know how that could be played, but I would love to see it
Absolutely amazing movie! (which also got me into watching the og 1966 series and Ultraseven. I think I'm also kinda slowly turning into an Ultraman fan haha). I really hope Ultraman Rising gets a sequel. You can feel from practically every part of this film (soundtrack and ending song included!) that the people working on it are really passionate about this project. And that song from Diplo and Oliver Tree is like so soo good. It has been living in my head rent free for like a week now.
I got into fnaf when sister location dropped (I was born 2013) and the music videos and my first was the one where it started with a person introducing the animatronics
I also love this movie as someone who became a big ultraman fan in recent years but there just one aspect that bothers me and it’s that this version established that the ability to turn into ultraman is somehow something that can be passed down even tho I’m the actual franchise this is adapted from shows that ability is because ultraman was an alien merged with a human because him and the human were on the verge of death after his first few battles on earth intern healing the human and allowing ultraman a way to recharge his power without having to return to his home planet every time making the fact it works this way not make sense since they adapted everything else except that and him usually needing a device to start the transformation making it imply that instead of it passing down a power it’s the previous ultraman making a baby and having it merge with the baby of his host
Ultraman Jack transforms without a henshin device. Also Ultras do have the ability to take on human forms without a host so maybe Kenji's Dad is biologically Giants of Light but due to Earth's atmosphere he had to take on human forms then eventually fell in love with Kenji's mom and decided to stay on Earth. Kenji doesn't know this obviously but maybe his dad hasn't actually told him everything there is to know about his alter ego.
@@trashboat5388 I saw a video somewhere that had shown a discord message based interview with the director confirming his dad is biologically a giant of light he didn’t elaborate any further then that
@@trashboat5388 i hope we get to see them adapt some of the lore in it like did this version have its own version of the ultra brothers or maybe they’ll do there own take on ultraman belial
