Hey Josh , awesome army , quick question, how do you get the rhino transfers to cross the seams in the top doors without creasing ? Is it micro sol/set ? How does it not just crease and ruin once you put it on. Thanks !!
@@tomrulz11 Hello mate. I used the micro sol/micro set but also used a hair dryer to melt the transfer into the seams and carefully sliced with a scalpal down the seams
These armies are beautiful! And gotta say - you have one of the most chill/fun channels for HH content. Just great attitudes and guests, and the hobby quality of the armies is always phenomenal. Thanks!
35:50 Contemptors are movement 8 so get +1 to their charge meaning he would have made the roll on a 9 unless you had already factored that in when you were saying it was a 10" charge 41:20 there is nothing that says that you cannot use the same reaction twice in a phase on different units 1:08:00 Multi charging is always a disordered charge anyway, you only get the +1 attack etc for charging a single target
Yeah, the rule is the same unit cant react twice in a phase. I know it's hard to keep track of everything, but there is a sense of arrogance at play. When the Ultra Dread took 4 out of 6 wounds, and Pardo was like, so I'm at 4, and didn't let the guest even process it before placing the die down. Saving him in the next combat
Thanks Ed yeah we factored that in for that charge. Made a mistake with the reaction sorry and remembered about the disordered after thanks! Also rememebr guys we are really trying our very very best! Believe me we don’t want to make mistakes but when you play 20 different armies and three different rule set games it’s very difficult
@@SNBattleReports I'd get into it, but Pardo's had a rough week and he needs a break from hate. Not that I hate him, in fact I love all the work he does for this community. Personalities shine bright in these Battle Reps
Minor rule mistake on the ram: first you cannot ram a vehicle that has already had troops disembarked. Second: you inflict ram attacks before death and glory. Third need to pass a moral check. And lastly, attacks auto hit
Another minor mistake, your question about if that lone terminator can stand firm. Yes he can, since he is not in combat. However since the reavers multi charged, it's considered disordered regardless. The game was great to watch. Don't let the rules minutia stop you from having fun!
Although it probably wouldn't have made a difference overall, you where rolling for the brutal saves incorrectly. Brutal wounds don't spill out across a unit. so brutal 2 is 2 saves on 1 model, any overspill is lost, page 117 legions book. so some of your terminators could have survived those combats. Great game as always and great looking armies.
Simply the best battle reports on youtube. I really enjoy the awesome looks of the armies you bring to the table and the terrain and the chill, casual like atmosphere. Also I am extremely happy there were no Fulmentarus present, also I am looking forward to the mentioned nerf to Artificer armor tanking wounds nonsense (the initiative cap sounds like a really smart way to do it).
Yay more HH! As for the "Can I brace" question - Yes, you can. *However* it 's a moot point because 1.) it was an illegal charge, he shot the reavers at the terminators in the back =) 2.) It was a multi-charge, which are always disorganized. (pg 182)
In Pardo turn 2 they incorrectly state that you can't use the same reaction more than once per phase: this is incorrect you can use the same reaction as many times as you can - you are just unable to react more than once with the same unit! P.159 Core Rulebook.
Team, loving the battle reports and the guests with their spectacular armies. 49.19 minutes in the Ultramarine Dreadnought took 4 wounds & should of been down to two. Fortunately the mighty Sons still prevailed, but that contemptor was quite pivotal the mid field.
holy smokes! those sons of horus look exquisite! bravo! #besttables #bestpaintjob #SN2023 (you think i didnt see the beautiful bicolored crate on mr pardo deployment zone? well i did, it's exquisite too)
That's a very nice blue, is that ultramarine from Vallejo? Care to give the recepie? Sons of Horus also look like straight from the books, grim and dirty, amazing!
Great battle report and amazing armies! The Sons of Horus look phenomenal! One game question. Dreadnoughts explode with Strength 8 so when the SoH dreadnought exploded then the SoH marines close by would not have feel no pains, no?
When DC started telling about the armies and then Josh about sons of Horus, i was VERY surprised and a little bit scared thinking like "Holy -hydra dominatus- Emperor, DC playing for the Emperium, whaaaat?!" :D Everything went on it's places then, but i'd like to see my own face during first 10-15 seks)
For sure Julek! We have Morty, Bobby G and Perty in the studio and I’ll be painting up Lorgar soon! It’s more about expanding our current range to field good armies with the Primarchs and getting to grips with their rules etc for 2.0 😊 I’ve used Perty once and it was great
@@sn_dc Wonderful! I suspected that you want to get accustomed to the 2nd edition rules fully, before taking out the big boys! I'm glad to hear that they are coming:)
Lovely armies, but is it just my colorblind ass or are the Sons of Horus dice impossible to read? Like the army is amazing, and I can appreciate it even with my moderate red/green colorblindness; but those dice are just impossible. Thank you Pardo for telling the audience what the guest has rolled lol!
Hey Quick rules question for scoring . When counting unit kills for points purposes separately . Do Spartans and Rhinos count if taken as transports for troops / elites ?
@@SNBattleReports its the special units they're all super underpriced. You were not using anything OP to be clear, but if you look at suzarins and fulmentarus they're insanely undercosted. The unique reaction is also insane when combined with heavy weapon squads
@@SNBattleReports Age of Darkness rulebook page 209 details how tanks do not treat cover the same as other models. - unless im missing something from a faq or errata?
you can get a 5+ if you can see the tank but cannot see the side in the arc you are facing/shooting, but otherwise it is only a 6+ for 25% or more being obscured
@@SNBattleReports Ok. I am asking because it is the second time I saw this, the first time was in a -full fist- unit and the state of the army was "just a list". So I was confused if I missed something about the harness.
@@SNBattleReports The fact is: you are one of the few channels that play HH like a narrative game. Doing lists that are both incredible to see and fun to watch when they battle each other. Good work!
@@SNBattleReports Please chill, no one believes in that! And pro tip - With right arrow button you can use "watch at office" mode so you can watch everything briefly. Of course, it's great to watch everything once more time at home. :)
@@SNBattleReports Seriously, seriously. You make one of the best channels on youtube. Professional reports, a lot of passion in what you do and beautiful models. Do not stop! :)
Great game guys, nice to see SoH do well, the legion trait is excellent and so are the legion units (but pricey), but the legion weapons are absolute crap...
I don't know where you got the idea that you can only do one of each type of reaction per phase, but that is completely inaccurate. As long as the player has more than one reaction allotment in that phase and they are reacting with a separate unit, they can choose to do any of the vanilla reactions each time they react.
Hi @GUTB what did you expect the outcome would be from this comment? It just honestly baffles me sometimes what people write in the comment section. I’m genuinely curious at this point 😂 The title says Horus Heresy, the thumbnail is Horus Heresy and Sons of Horus are only in Horus Hersey. If you’re not a fan of it, then that’s cool! No issues there it’s not for everyone - but why were you compelled to let us know it was a ‘waste of time’ ? Like it is our fault you’re not happy we didn’t make the content you specifically wanted (for free) And instead have taken the time to produce, record, edit this content for other people to enjoy? I just honestly don’t understand people’s compulsions to make sure they comment these kinds of things 😅 help me understand, probably never get an answer 👍
Idk if you guys used this reaction in the game. I haven't finished watching yet, but what's your take on how death dealers' advanced reaction works? I've heard people saying that you are able to fire with any unit in your army so long as the unit that was shot at was within 12" of the attacking unit. I don't think that's correct, but I'm curious to see your guys take on it. Thanks, I love the battle reports. You guys have the greatest warhammer content.
