No, it's not for cooling. It's just to humidify or aromize the area where it's kept. It emits minute water droplets which humidifies the air in the room, making you feel relaxed and calm. If you add some drops of perfume in it, than it aromizes the room along with humidifying it.

According to "Newton's law of cooling effect" water droplets absorb energy in its surrounding. That's why I thought mist particals cause cooling effect.

@@user-tj4qi7sy6n No much idea on that brother. I think the mist particles are too small and gets suspended in air. So when we inhale in such a climate, we breathe a somewhat moist air, which reduces nasal and throat problems. Also since the moisture content in air increases, upon inhaling our body gets more oxygen compared to normal air with less moisture content.
