ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGIST: a realistic day at the hospital

If you are new here, I am a Disney loving Sonographer who works in a hospital setting and also has a second job in the outpatient setting. I strive to spread ultrasound awareness and PAWSitivity!! In today's video, I bring you to work at the hospital. You will see some cases that I performed. The cases shown in today's video include renals (kidneys), lower extremity venous, and a pelvic exam. Our hospital department is in charge of doing any general ultrasound exam (anything besides echo) within the entire hospital. This includes all patients that are admitted, patients who come through the ER, patients in L&D, and outpatients that are scheduled through their doctors. We are a very busy hospital and I try to videotape as much as I can with all my videos, without violating patient privacy and hospital privacy. All videos filmed are done on down time, and no patient personal information is shown. The video is solely for educational purposes as I aim to spread ultrasound awareness and help other students aspiring to enter this field of work. I hope you find this video interesting as many have asked for how to write worksheets and how the hospital setting works.
