This was so spectacular to watch as an 7 year old Greek kid in the late 80s

Each time I listen to this intro I get goosebumps! They don't make shows like these no more.

How is it after what must be 30 years I still remember every word of this theme song!

This has to be one of the coolest theme songs for a cartoon ever.

I miss the creativity and boldness of the 80's... Yes those where made to sell toys, but they where still Epic, and imaginative as fuck, nothing of today will ever come close...

I'm 50 and I love that show that intro music used to get me so excited. I'd have goosebumps and my hair would be standing on end waiting for the next adventure.

This and ThunderCats bring back fond memories of my childhood why can't cartoons be like this 😞❤

It’s 2023 and I still remember every word. We had the best cartoons in the 80s

If you lived in the UK in the 90s and had a paper round requiring you to get up at some stupid time in the morning while it was still dark outside you'll no doubt have been watching this amazing series along with me which started at exactly, and for some reason I really want to be correct with this, 5:35am every weekday on channel 4. Back then there were literally only 4 channels and channel 4 didn't even broadcast anything other than teletext (think text only webpage with nothing interesting on it) between the hours of 12am and 5:30am, meaning that when someone got to work at Channel 4 the first thing they would do would be to turn the lights on and load the next episode of this bad boy into the tape player! I remember catching every episode of this (I'd seen episodes here and there before this marathon aired in the early 90s) and I got all the feels when they finally managed to bring everyone back to life and make it home at the same time!

I legit came here after suddenly remembering an ancient childhood memory regarding this cartoon. I tried to sing the tone of the "UllyseEEeeEeeEEse" part of the chorus and nobody remembered, I thought I was going nuts until I found this. Feels good!

Big time fan of this show (& anything related to Greek myths & legends) - that’s a fantastic upscaling job you’ve done there, like others have suggested it would be great to see an upscaled & cleaned up version of the ‘Mysterious Cities Of Gold’ intro too.

They had great musicians and producers in that era. You can't get some of these songs out of your head. Once you hear them? You are hooked!

It used to be something of a ritual back in the day that my brother and I would come down early in the mornings to watch this show. So it's good that it hasn't been forgotten 😊

Nice work Upscale.. you took the 1080p remastered cut froma a few years back and yet kept the quality at the higher rez. the remastering is the same as the 1080p cut on colour and clean up but at least it doesnt pixelate on a Ultra HD 4k or 8k screen.. good editing

It's really good, but the colours are too solid. Maybe look into restoring the video grain at the new resolution, similar to what they did with the ST:TNG blurays?
