Sutan is normally talkative, but she was super quiet during this (as most kids are when they are around strangers). Don’t worry Niece Sutan that’s just Uncle Roger!
For me, it just proves how unaware these internet kids are to the number of people watching them every day. Even when meeting 1 stranger, they become shy and quiet but they're watched by millions of strangers. No matter how wholesome some family channels are (including kimono mom), I still think the parents are irresponsible for using their kids as content. (Sorry for being too serious lol)
@anasdyanee been sayin that for years. Had a cousin complain a lot when she was little about her mother always putting pictures of her on Facebook. Not very often I agree with a child so completely lol
@@anasdyanee100% agree. However, I think we're already far too deep. Can you even imagine the world without child actor/actress, no child in any form of media? Because I can't. The ship has sailed, this is the world we live in. All that's left is for us as a society to make sure that at least, no child being exploited, minimize the harm and the risk.
@@kevinpaulin7690 oh cool and yeah I know that. Just curious about if they are similar. One is an artificial enhancer to get umami the other I'm not entirely sure.
Sutan is talkative when it's just her family, I've seen vlogs with other people where she's been quieter and just sticking to her mom so this was more active of her than i expected 😅
Very cool you met up and cooked with kimonomom and her kiddo! I love her cooking videos, really informative and helpful to me. And her daughter is exceptionally smart and cute!
I noticed with Japanese Fried Rice, they like to coat the raw egg onto the rice mixed together so you get a soft and fluffy end product. Very different from the Chinese Fried Rice that has wok hei but still a good variation.
Yes and also nope. The Japanese learned it from the Chinese even before the Sino-Japanese war. Some Chinese school of thought mention coating the egg with rice while some prefers to cook the egg separately till it becomes semisolid and later mix it with rice . Both Chinese & Japanese still believe in using high heat woks to create smoky wok hei. The Japanese have modified their dish by caramalizing garlic till it crisp and infusing garlic in oil to make garlic cha han. Some Chinese chefs from Sichuan on the otherhand adores frying sichuan and dried chilies to make the chili flakes & chili oil infusion.
If it tastes umami, it's got glutamate in it. No glutamate => no umami. MSG is just the sodium salt of glutamate (like regular table salt is the sodium salt of chloride).
Literally I don’t get why people think MSG is a new thing. The founder MSG found MsG through thinking his wife ramen tasted so good that researched it and created this
Yall better get this short to 100k likes. Kimono mom and Sutan are finally getting the recognition they deserve for their entertaining cooking videos. Edit: FINALLY
