I've owned for about a year. The main reason for the tight trigger is the magazine's rotary belt magazine. If you spray some silicon on the belt mechanism, then manually rotate for several revolutions you'll find the trigger pull loosens up. Umarex also produce the 0.43 caliber version of the Glock 17, Gen 5 which I also own. You can shoot 0.43 rubber, plastic, aluminum, pepper-ball, and steel-core PVC. It's magazine holds 8 rounds. Would also be a nice launcher for your inventory. BTW, your channel's great!
Thank you so much Robert!! Both for the great advice and for the kind words! Using silicon oil on the belt mechanism makes complete sense and I will do it immediately! As for the .43 cal is that the HDP? If so, that’s the ONLY T4E gun that I don’t have in my inventory haha and you’re right, I should rectify that. Thank you again
@@AirgunAlleyNo, it's the Glock 17 Gen 5 0.43 caliber. Looks identical to the pellet pistol you reviewed, except it's 0.43 caliber with a different magazine mechanics.
Loved your comment, thanks for it, as I could learn. I love replica guns, but I could not even imagine that the 0.43 could "fire" so many different "bullets"... 😮
Going back to your roots with this .177 cal replica! I love my Glock 17 gen 5 .43 cal. It's the most fun to shoot of all my launchers and is a really faithful replica of the real steel too. Good stuff!
Haha one week it’s a .177 CO2 pistol another is a .50 Cal PCP monster - you never know in this new “profession” of ours :) Wishing you a great weekend my friend and lots of views on your awesome, very practical and helpful channel
I work in film and use air pistols on set for safety and realism. Muzzle flash and cartridge election is a snap to composite in post production, but blowback is a pain in thev tushi. So realistic replicas with blowback like this are great. Thanks for bringing this one to my attention!
Use the umarex airsoft glock instead. The slide action and magazine are way more realistic. If you're looking for a heavier blowback feel- The ghk g3 co2 is the way to go.
nice tasting , i just wished it had another 100 fps !!! lol cant wait for the 1077 tactical !!! years back i learned how to trick those 1077 out and develop more power , now next to the crosman vigilante , that thing is fun to shoot , i been having my eye on the 1077 tac , i think i will eventually get that one and put my mods on it , my other 1077's gets about 25 to 28 shots from a 12 g co2 , bigg difference considering the stock versions get roughly 50 to 60 shots ! .!!!! ENJOYED THE SHOW AS ALWAYS MY BROTHER !!!
The need for a separate tool to insert the Co2 cartridge... we're in 2024! That's exactly what led me to choose the Sig Sauer P226, the next one being the M17. Damn, Umarex 🤦♂️ Edit: The best pellet I have ever tried for every Co2 pistols is the Blue Arrow. Bad thing: as it is not lead, it does not "crumple", causing ricochets, etc., but it's really precise.
My friend, another fine video! Great to see a video that us budget air-gunners can relate to. I hear that blow-backs use up co2, and this makes them weaker than non blow-backs. I can't wait to see your video on the Crosman 1077. I'm researching it right now! You give so much to us air gunners! Thank you so much for what you do!!
Thank YOU!! You’re always so kind and I truly appreciate your support my friend! Next week I’ll be putting out a video of a new PCP rifle , then it should be the new 1077 TAC :) Again, thank you!
Looks like a fun gun to lift the Spirits. Umarex Also makes a T4E version in . 43 cal. that takes All of the Round Ball Ammo. Pricey but Well Made. Have Fun and Happy Easter !!!
Happy Easter my friend and thank you!! So I just found out that Umarex makes a .43 cal version of this exact same gun - that’s NOT the T4E HDP 🤯 I also had no idea… so there two .43 cal models!
Great video as always. Do make sure to lube that mag with silicone oil. Over time they can split or malfunction if you’re not careful. Looks like you have one of the newer ones with the white belt which I believe is an improvement over the original.
Thank you so much!! I’m glad you liked it and absolutely, putting some silicon oil on the belt is golden advice! I sure had a lot of fun with it… Thanks again!!
Bellissimo come tutti i tuoi video. Sei un gran narratore e i paesaggi sono a dir poco mozzafiato! Grazie ancora Paolo (e diveriti con la tua Glock 19!!)
This one is the old version, they did release the same system as Glock 17 Gen 5 MOS this year, at least in Germany it is already available. Should essentially have the same performance, and it uses the same magazines. Adapter plates for the MOS are sold separately though.
Great video, first time viewer of this channel and absolutely loved it, very entertaining and certainly helped me with my decision of getting one. Subscribed💯 Love from the UK 🇬🇧 💪🏽❤️
whats the best value for power air pistol to buy could any persuade an intruder to leave ? home defence ? pcp seems the best ive seen hatsan blitz looks awsome especislly full auto
I have a BB version from a couple of years back, really like it, but only takes steel BBs so not pellets and has smooth bore barrel, though for all that it's reasonably accurate. I must get one of these pellet versions however.
Although those plastic packs allow people to look at the guns without handling damage i can't help but find them a tad down market although the gun looks like the real McCoy.
Dear Sir, I have just bought a new Glock 17 Gen 5 airsoft gun. Everything is fine except that I can not find the way to release the slide and clean it inside. The button doesn’t move like in the Gen 4 and the slide is released so easy! Is it a specific reason from Umarex that did that on the gun? Is it another way to release the slide? Looking forward of hearing from you! Thanking you in advance!
Hey Gian, great video! Never been much into Glocks, but I have to admit Umarex has done a great job with this replica. The belt system is very interesting! Amazing how they managed to fit that on top of the magazine... That guy at the beginning should get himself a watch with hands😂
Hahahaha! He should! Thank you so much Luiz!! I agree with you very much, I’m also not big on Glocks, but it’s always good to learn a bit about everything. As always, I can’t thank you enough for your renewed kindness 🙏🏽🙌🏼
Yup. I just exactly thought of that same thing!😂 I've been working on my Canebrake lately and HPAd it a while back. Those H&N Hornet Pistol pellets caught my attention also due thinking they'd be a way cool choice for the Canebrake. Short/thin mags (or belts) can be an annoying things when searching for cool pellets - which can often be found as just a wee bit too long. And I always prefer to seat well every single pellet in my Sig belts.. PS. ...and what I just calculated on PA's Muzzle Energy to Velocity -calculator, my 10.2fpe (avg meas.) Canebrake oughta do an average of about 772fps with 7.7gr Hornet Pistol pellets.. My Canebrake is quite as og. Only has a pressure input of 105bars to have achieved that.. I did recently have it apart for the very first time and polished up internal stuff after those readings - but I'm not expecting differences in performance after my "1st service" to it, only hoping for a slightly smoother triggerpull..
@@brorjordas1979 772 fps then why the hell is mine doing over 800 Plus with 8 gr. pellets shit either way the Canebrake is one very Dangerous and Very Leathal Airgun. you can do Headshots at 100 yds. and drop them like Nothing get the LVPO Optic for the C-bake it's worth it.
@@joseglenn20 No idea why yours go over 800 with 8gr.😁 Must be differences between our Canebrake setups then. Mine was as original straight outta the box, and only equipped with an adapter and a 105bar HPA tank when tested. I bought a new 10ci tank and a clamp-on buttstock for it. But had to take and borrow the 105bar set regulator from my Virtus tank to just get it tested on HPA. I was just interested to see how my Canebrake shot with an HPA setup. Clearly good enough for me imo. Must test it again surely though. The inner barrel now well cleaned and attached. The inner barrel was originally kinda locktited..but yet still somehow loose. But now fit like a sob.👍🏻 I did order and get a new regulator, which now is going onto my 13ci Virtus tank to replace the og reg which the Canebrake got, now seemingly as a "permanent loaner".😂 My new Virtus reg was sold as a "1800psi" model - but apparently that is not really the case.🤣 The og 1800psi Belleville setup, (when settled down) made an output averaged around 97bar(1400psi) (including a slow creep) - and right just now, with an added 0.5mm shim, it is set at 128bar(1856psi)..🙄🤣 Yea.. I need to find a thinner shim than 0.5 now - or find a better Belleville setup.. But, I did already find my 75bar/1100psi setup with this reg..🤣 But, yes.. The Canebrake is one awesome .177 rifle. I now love it as much as my .22 Virtus.
@@joseglenn20 Oh yeah. I really gotta take this opportunity to ask you.. At what output pressure does your Canebrake do over 800fps with 8gr? A too high pressure will just lean more towards a valve lock - which might be more my case. The Canebrake's valve stem movement is more limited than the stem on my Virtus due a different stem spring. My Canebrake's stem only opens up 3mm maximum - which then also prevents the extending nozzle to get buttsmashed and ruined by the valve stem. A lower (or just an "optimal") pressure oughta keep the valve stem's opening movement time as long enough to put a good speed to the pellet with a lower pressure than I have now.. My Virtus once shot 850fps with 11.9gr Hobbys with just around 92bars.. But that was before, back when my Virtus was quite new and had all original parts. But my Virtus been broken and fixed a few times now already..
@@brorjordas1979 if your gun is Brand new Leave it alone and let it break in over time the power will go up. just dont use co2 in the winter you'll break it.
Just remember - red, you're dead - easy way to determine if you're safety is on or off. Umarex is always good about making their replicas accurate in size, look and weight. Take a hair dryer or heat gun and run it across the sides of ballistic gel blocks - that'll remove the wrinkles and make them clear as glass. A cheap alternative to ballistic gel - score yourself a block of modeling clay as that stuff always gives fun results, plus, it holds the shape of the impact.
@MichaelWhite-cx4ho hey Michael, thanks for your response :) I think there was a loss in translation. He was asking if I have any AEA PCP guns as well… I appreciate you my friend!
Ciao carissimo! Vedo che hai trovato i miei video AEA… ce ne saranno molti a venire che quest’anno sia AEA che BinTac hanno una montagna di nuovi prodotti che fanno paura!
