Unfortunately there is NO pellet pistol in existence that locks back after last round fired because hollow pellets can not be stacked vertically like BBs and bullets, which allows the mechanical follower to engage the slide lock when the magazine is empty to lock back the slide. All pellet pistols rely on a rotary mechanism, like a revolver, which is unable to engage the slide lock back mechanism.
Yeah I figured a lack design in the magazine was causing this. Hopefully one day they can come up with something that will engage that slide lock when only wish at this point. Bud I really appreciate your feed bad your a real intelligent individual you know your stuff hope you enjoyed the video bud shoot safe out there 😎💯🤘👊🏼
@@AIRSTREAMRIFLES Thanks, appreciate the compliment. I have the Umarex Glock 17 GEN 3 with blowback, which is the BB version of this pistol. It has a full-size dropout magazine that holds vertically stacked BBs with a mechanical spring follower that allows the slide to lock back after final shot. This is another reason why I highly prefer BBs over pellets, the blowback BB pistols will always lock back after final shot so you won't be shooting air when empty and wasting CO2. Also BBs are a lot cheaper in price compared to pellets and BBs are more hardened and solid/dense which means they typically penetrate better.
@@OVI-Wan-Kenobi-8 I have to agree with you the majority of my handguns are bb and sum being bb and pellet combo in my opinion bbs are way better and some bb models are more powerful than pellets for sum odd reason
Have no idea how that all works mechanically. But what if the belt had a tab or something that would do that? I can see having to rotate the belt maxing the shots before the belt tap locks the side back. Like a bolt action pcp, no slide obviously but loading requires spinning the spring loaded mag 360 and them loading. When it gets to the end you can not slide the probe forward essentially “locked back” .. then again what do i know haha.
gen 4 they got it right been right ever since. also gen 4 can be field stripped, plus i herd the mags can be swapped to use BB or pellet.. great air guns!!
It is an awesome experience with the channels new Glock whoa. I use pellgun oil you can really feel the difference. Thanks bud I’m excited you enjoyed the video stay safe bro 😎 always 💯
Two things I'd like to see improved. The trigger and more shots per Co2 to between 30 to 40. If the belt only contained 16 shots and mad the trigger smoother and lighter.
Barra 009 has a way better trigger brother just the belt fed is making this a tough I believe if they design a better rotation of the belt bearings instead of sprocket several more ideas from individuals like yourself opinions would matter so I started to believe why p320 didn’t make more than 30 rounds the co2 will have limits so 30 rounds is perfect your correct with blow back feature as well and I won’t think it will hurt the to put a spring to lock the upper slide. Trigger is a must to work on if they use bearings in the sprocket wheel will be a heck of a pistol the do it all
Been shooting whole day with Umarex MARKPOINT it’s a Bit long pneumatic,,claim 395 fps, break barrel so pellets Only, one or two videos I guess people don’t know about it.
Thx for this review, brother! I was thinking of getting one of these and your review made my mind up for me. Just got it yesterday. Can't wait to give it a try! Thx again!
Congratulations bro on your purchase the trigger isn’t for everyone but it did not bother be at all as you can see I was hitting steel repeatedly at a good 15 - 20 yard distance let me know how it turns out bro really appreciate you stopping by couldn’t thank you enough 😎💯👊🏼🤘

Katana, yo no tengo ninguna Glock. Deseo comprar una. La 17 Gen 4 es demasiado cara no la puedo comprar, en mi presupuesto está disponible 19 sin blowback, 17 Gen 3 y está 17 Gen 5, cual recomiendas y porque?
Does this pistol have an automatic slide stop function when you shot the last pellet? And I'm consider to buy this model or the Glock 17 gen 5 'pellet'. And always, very good video!
Can anyone explain please how to release the slide on a Gen 5 Glock 17 CO2 pellet gun as is the only model that the two clips like in any other Glock are not moving . This is the only thing that disappointed me with this airgun! Thank you 🙏🏻
In fact, you can disassemble the Gen 5, it's just different. The takedown tabs on the side are non-functional. You need to slide the slide all the way to the rear and then, with some force, slide it about a 1/4 inch further and the rear of the slide pops off the rail. Here is a video showing the procedure. As to why UMAREX did it this way is beyond me, I prefer the GEN4 over this replica. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-c-B5Ugf6gHI.html That being said, that magazine is ridiculous, one mag of 21 rounds for one air cartridge??? Plus the complexity of it, nop, crazy. The field stripping being so difficult, why did they Frankenstein this wonderful gun? I have the GEN4 and it is a MUCH better replica, field strips like an actual Glock, the magazine is a simple drop the bb's in and it gets up to three mags of 17 rounds. I would not buy this version, I will stick with my GEN4 thank you.
Hiya mate great video, I own the Sig P320 and MPX rile, Sig mags are a bit better, they do feel a bit flimsy, but they are tough, I've never had a failure or any kind of malfunction. A massive bonus for Sig is because you can open up the magazine and take the belt out this helps massively loading pellets; it's a much quicker reload process and they provide a tool to seat the pellets correctly, rather than you using a qtip. Another bonus is that one Sig belt hold 30 pellets, you can buy more magazines which are more expensive or you can just buy the belts on their own and put them in the same magazine. Another bonus is my P320 and MPX straight out of the box has fantastic accuracy. My final bonus is that the belts from the MPX and P320 belts are interchangeable, we all know the P320 takes a 12g CO2 cartridge, the MPX uses a 88g CO2 big cartridge, however you can use a 12g CO2 cartridge in the MPX. Any questions please let me know?
Thanks for your support bud and reply’s I love the the p320 I don’t own the Airgun but I own the p250 in the real arms industry same as the 320 but I want to own the 320 for the belt of 30 in Airgun platform I don’t own a pistol with 30 rounds in the Airgun realm but I don’t like the stick mags but I might make an exception with this one or might just settle for the m17. Wyt bud
@@AIRSTREAMRIFLES Hiya mate, I highly recommend you go with the M17, I wasn't fortunate enough to get one because I live in the UK in England and the prices are through the roof, and we get very limited stock, I bought my P320 many years ago then a few months later we got the M17 then as quick as 2-3 months you can't get them anywhere! I wasn't a fan of the stick mags either but they are pretty tough, yes they do look flimsy but I've slammed mine in the pistol many times and even drop one on solid concrete from a standing position and not a scratch. Go with the M17, I was gutted I missed out on getting one, the M17 mags are completely different from the P320, the M17 mags are the same in terms of design to the Glock 17 Gen5. My country's gun laws fucking suck and it's impossible for civilians to own any firearm, yet we pay the same price for a real firearm in the USA, it's crazy I would pay any amount to someone in the US to send me one. Mental it really is, we have no means to defend ourselves, we can't own pepper spray, a taser or even a ASP/baton, it's fucked up. Please please please listen to my main point which is this: I got one of the first P320s that come with a default 30 round mag, however if you buy additional mags the belts only hold 20 rounds, I'm not sure what the M17 is like but ask the open one up off the shelf and see the mag/belt. My airgun seller and range owner wrote to Sig to ask why but they didn't tell us, I suspect it's to increase CO2 gas efficiency from a stats and percentage point of view.
They are so far doing an amazing job and I appreciate you for taking the time to watch my content bud please like subscribe share and I have more videos check them out 😎🤘👊🏼💯
I really appreciate your content, dude. I used to be into airguns a lot but only now have I been able to stay well informed about them, all thanks to you. I especially appreciate the videos you did on the Crossman SNR357 and Webley as I have been looking into carrying an alternative to firearms.
Thank you bud. I really appreciate you guys being so supportive and generous. I really enjoy making content for you guys billy if you have any questions please feel free to comment below day or night I’m here for you guys don’t forget to share it really helps out me and other platforms. This sport is growing so fast it blows my mind sometimes but thanks to you and many others that support this platform we are growing significantly.
@@AIRSTREAMRIFLES I really appreciate it my guy! Also, on that note, I did have a question regarding the speed loaders you use for the Crossman SNR 357 revolver. Based on the photos that you provided, I assume you use the HKS 10 - A speed loader that is meant for 38/357 Smith and Wesson cartridges. From the looks of it, it works perfectly fine for the BB cartridges, but I was wondering if it would also work with the pellet cartridges as well? I was thinking about buying them purely for cosmetic purposes, and because they look cool, but I want to know if it would be able to fit or not. Aside from that, though, I really appreciate that air gun channels like you are really open to discuss these kinds of things and even help other people out we’re in need. It’s not something that I experienced all too often and I just want to thank you for it!
@@billyyank1916 thanks bud. Yes the speedloader does worrk for the bb and pellet shells this revolver is designed to be similar replica of a .357 smith and Wesson design. Now if you want the best speed loader for this model and holster pyramid air , Amazon have these speed loader for the Dan Wesson model 2.5 inch that’s very identical basically they are copy cats of each other and will be compatible so there you go bud hopefully this good info bet yes in all the speedloader I displayed does works just fine

@@AIRSTREAMRIFLES duuude you are awesome ... I really started to think I got a default model... I started composing an email to my retailer... Couldn't be more thankfull for your super fast reply amongst 400 comments... ❤❤❤
@@george.klapsides honestly no. But if your are trying to maintenance the pistol I understand but I just use pellgun oil it has not failed me yet but you try to modify it it’s other story
@@AIRSTREAMRIFLES heya! I saw some comments saying a few peeps didn’t work, but I messed about with it today and lo and behold the slide catch now works! Thanks for the video buddy
So Umarex is one of the best replica airgun makers yet. Very excited about there products coming through the channel. Please like and subscribe bud I’m really thankful for that 😎💯🤘👊🏼
Great video, my friend! Understandable plain English, no psycadelic stupid musics, etc... ❤❤❤Good!! Normal people with true know how, to make a change!! 😮😮😅😅
I have 2 of them and both stay locked maybe 4 out of 10 times. So it's different from gun 2 gun when you talk Glock 17 gen. 5 the 17 gen. 4 with 4.5 metal BB's is more accurate and feels more like the real thing and you can get it to shoot about 12- 14 joules. Try the T4E Glock 17 gen. 5 cal.43 the best of them all. In Glock we trust.🎉😊
I’ll check that out bud thanks I heard a lot of good things about on the gen4 g17 the t4E looks like a real solid build to in Glock we trust. Niiiiccce bro 😎
@@Oscar_xD7573 I have tests on several other guns I can pretty much predict what will happen. Thanks for the advice feel free to watch my other videos you might pick up a thing or two
Your video has made me curious. I purchased a new G17 Gen 5 and the trigger pull is like 12 pounds. Ive seen a few comments giving advice to lubricate the pellet belt to lessen the trigger pull. While thats sound, it didnt seem to make much difference on my Glock. The trigger has to rotate the plastic belt which is no mean feat. I dont believe there is any way to get the trigger pull down to a normal 3 - 3.5 lb pull. That is a deal breaker for me and Im trying to get rid of my Gen 5. After all, how can you attain accuracy if you are straining to pull the trigger?
I know what you mean bud the trigger is a lil bit hard to pull indeed that’s the way it’s designed I hit that plate several times at full 35 steps that is up to 20 yards now I don’t think is lazer accuracy but enough to put any BB gun to shame at those distances this Glocks first rotary belt mag and first pellet pistol now there is another Glock out the that has a rotary mag which can be probably more affective with trigger and accuracy and probably a lock back of the slide I’m not 100 percent sure but it exists this bb and pellet combo this gen 5 is not for everyone just another gun to add to the collection people have argued that the gen is much better I do agree but they remind me everyday like I can’t see the difference the gen5 looks better and accurate I know what your gonna say the trigger I agree with that 12 pound trigger the line does work but doesn’t make this a match grade trigger this is the first gen 5 that’s all pellet I show a video of the product out of the box I like it. The trigger does not bother me but make me a better marksman cuz I have to really hold this firm and aggressive I know that’s crazy to say due to the stiffness but if you practice and practice you get better and better and will appreciate a good trigger when you come across one yes I agree a normal pound trigger is definitely 3.5 pounds but like I said this is a add to your collection piece sell it if you don’t like it you should get 100 bucks for it of private sell. I’m keeping mine I will buy more products from Glock for the quality they will eventually master the trigger they just have to have more leverage torque on the mag sprocket they need bearings as well to help rotate the sprocket may I warn all cock before firing it’s dumb to shoot it when it’s not cocked should help a lil It’s not for everyone thanks hope this helps thank you for taking the time to share your experiences bro really couldn’t thank you enough 😎💯👊🏼🤘 hope this doesn’t keep you from subscribing bro
Not hard at all the only flaw is the slide does not lock back after the last shot other than that it’s a great air pistol as far as weight goes and accuracy
I'm thinking of picking one of these up but wondered 2 things, does the slide actually lock back when out of ammo? and could it use hollow points? As Thats the ammo i typically use :)
Yea you can use hollow points they just have to Be short ones some pellets are longer than others and the slide does not lock back after a full Mag. Hope this helps please like share and subscribe 😎
the difference between gbb and co2 version is only the front cocking serrations?? the co2 version has both front and rear while gbb has only in the rear
Very good video bro! Well detailed as always and well explained, it was very interesting and clear, also practical and especially when it comes to operation which you demonstrated perfectly. It looks like a good quality peice with an overall good field performance and parts that make it both realistic and well constructed. I have never tried this speciefic model and it looks like one which might be worth it. Thank you again for this excellent video and presentation, as always you did it awsome and I had much fun to watch❣️😃 Keep it up brother and as always I am looking forward to more and always here to support ❤️🔥👊🏼✌🏽😎
Thanks my brother. Forgive my late reply I have been really busy lately I’m always excited to hear from you brother thank you I have put A ton of work on this one but I will definitely have more on the way. Thanks for keeping in touch I knew you would appreciate this model very sturdy and really promising model with slight new features this model is a very gorgeous looking Glock. And it’s definitely worth it the only problem I had with it slide don’t lock back that because it was designed that way but I like it a lot really well Built feels like the real deal. Let me know if you ever get one bud it’s fun for sure. Well bro till next time take car. Be safe. Much love bro 😎💯🤘👊🏼
@AIRSTREAMRIFLES its o.k. dear brother, whenever you have time you can write to me, I enjoyed watching as always great job and ofcourse I'll let you know if I put my hand on this model, if I do so will give you my professional impression and sending you back much love bro, we stay in touch❣️👊🏼❤️🔥😃
yeah there's dealing with it and all, but it sound like it would be difficult to be accurate (as i've heard a figure of 1.5lbs being a good trigger pull)@@AIRSTREAMRIFLES
@@jonchicoine I agree it’s not the best trigger and they are better options for sure like the gen4 but if you see my distance and you can see that I hit the plate several time the real one will be similar maybe a slight better trigger but close one for sure
If there is a way there is a will. One thing I know for sure is you can’t field strip this at all. In other words you can’t take it apart I you probably can put to put it back together could be a nightmare. Maybe if you can find one that’s field strip able. Hope this helps bud 😎💯🤘👊🏼
You can’t remove the slide on this one. But someone told me you can take it apart just never seen it done myself now I haven’t took the time to see if you can it probably does just a pain to put back together. All I would worry about is putting pellgun oil in the co2 canister’s
The Walther is a very nice pistol indeed thanks bud for checking out my content really appreciate your comments don’t forget to like and subscribe thank you
x man. Thank you brother. I very much appreciate you for taking the time. Thank you so much for being part of some of these masterpieces 🎥 . God bless you and your family in abundance.
@@AIRSTREAMRIFLES You told me something 2 other reviewers claimed it was a true ambidextrous system. Thank you for the detail in your review. Much appreciated. Being a lefty I am used to unlocking the slide with my left hand, using my index finger. I've done this for 30+ years.
How durable is the rotary belt magazine system? It appears to be vulnerable to snapping. I want a pellet co2 pistol, because I am a precision junkie. In my country the only 2 options are the Beretta PX4 and this, the Beretta cost substantially less and uses the standard revolving clips. The magazine system and the trigger weight on the Glock has me leaning towards the PX4
Its durable but not to the point that will last forever obviously but if you try not to force it while not cocking it back it will give it more stress on the belt which could lead to snapping the px4 will last way longer due to the rotary mags which is way more reliable Glock has done an amazing job by making a replica but still are a few generations away from making the perfect Glock pistol it does look good and very accurate feels like the real deal to. Hope this helps bud 😎💯👊🏼🤘👍🏼
@@AIRSTREAMRIFLES Thank you very much for taking your time to answer my questions. Great review and service to your followers, you have my subscription. I think I will buy the PX4 tomorrow, unless you think I am missing out on something regarding the Glock.
@@Reviewerhn the Glock is built durable but the belt is not 100 percent durable but it’s accurate and it does not lock back after the last shot like the BB gun models very accurate by the way those are the only good things about it and the weight
I own them both. I really like the Glock for sure but the SA10 looks really kool the sa10 has less rounds but you can choose between bb and pellet and has a threaded barrel and the Glock very realistic and with more shots per mag I would say probably the SA10 has more features and looks modern a bit but the Glock looks so realistic it’s a tough one
@@AIRSTREAMRIFLES Thanks for the reply and info man. 🙏 If you took appearance out of the equation and based it solely on power and accuracy out of the two which one would you choose?
