@@runerebel8441 I ordered it immediately. I remember seeing X-Tender on Umarex’ channel, and I was excited, but when the guy said it won’t add any power, I was like nahh forget it. But hey, it helps indeed! Can’t wait to have it. Now if Homedefence24 would make fitting barrel for it, it would be so cool.
After 2min of video I realized that this is not good. Maybe fill it with Florian's sniper extensions and tuning barrel. But the cover is looking good from outside. Btw...nice to have you back here recovered and see you enjoying your/our hobby.

I don't think it looks sci-fi. It's tactical looking. I don't think it was made to be used just like that either. I'm pretty sure it was made to have a vertical front grip and go with a butt stock. Anyone using this like a pistol is silly. If it were sci-fi looking I would hate it. That's a problem in the air gun community. They make them look stupid and sci-fi.
Hello Rune. This looks really cool. I don't even mind that's it's front heavy, since I have a buttstock HPA adapter from Home Defense 24, an ASA on/off valve, and the 13ci HPA tank itself weighing down the rear anyway, maybe this would balance the weight 🤣 With a proper barrel made for it (are you watching, Florian 🤣) this would be a winner.
You can buy extended barrel for. HDR50 then you put this extender piece on after…. That why you had to fit the pvc pipe inside…. Buy the extended hdr50 barrel 1st then install this 😉💪

Rune, could you do test like this: One Co2 capsule. First two shots heavy ammo, then two shots of medium weight ammo and then two lighter ammo. I’m thinking that maybe because power keeps dropping towards the end, lighter ammo could balance things. Last two shots with lighter ammo would make more J than heavy ammo (more velocity). Not sure, but maybe? For example: Two devastators or similar (~4,8g) Two rubbersteelballs (~2,8g) Two rubber balls (~1,6g) Perhaps blocking those vent holes in the barrel could also help with the velocity? 🤔
Hi my friend. I might do that test when I have the F1 chrony up and working. The reson I only use heavy ammo is because my X-Radar chrony only goes up to 399 fps max. When I get a chance I try with the F1 chrony 👍

Rune I need your help. I’m going to purchase the the Umarex X-Tender for my HDR50 but need a longer barrel as well. Can you recommend me a barrel or perhaps an extension to the original.
Hi my friend. The X-tender has a steel barrel with 15mm bore size. I just glued a copper pipe 15x13mm in it and it seems to work just fine. If you buy a tuning-barrel from homedefence-24 then you must remove the steel barrel that sits in the X-tender first, or it wont fit. I never tested it that way since I alreaddy glued in a copper pipe. But it should work well with the homedefence-24 barrel if you choose to use it. Cheers 😃
Yeah it's big if you just leave it like that but that's not what it's made for. I'm pretty sure they designed this to go with a front grip and a butt stock. With those things it won't be big at all.
Very nice!! I have only one problem: home defense. The kinetic energy gòod, but the marker is getting bigger, barrel extinctions , hpa tanks so a not so easy much needed marker if the troubles is in the house near you
@@runerebel8441 rune i have put a stronger spring in my victor spider that worked .The first was to strong, now the second one is ok ,dont have a crony but with nylon balls to tin can a much higher destruction than standard spring!
From 🇵🇹 Portugal 🇵🇹 👍 the gun looks interesting... maybe you didn't understand well but the barrel is PVC❓ it's not steel ‼️for Amurex product if the barrel is PVC, I think it's weak. Another question is to remove the barrel❓
Hello my friend. I tried to reduce the inner diameter of the barrel and all I had was a PVC tube. it didnt work well and broke after only 3 shots. It seems I didnt have to use it. The stock barrel rise the power quite a bit 🙂👍
Hey Rune, been following your videos for a while now, thanks for all the great info :) I am waiting for one of these on order from MCS, and I also have the tuning barrel. What a relief that the barrel is removal so I can still use the tuning barrel! It's going to be the basis of a great carbine build I think. I'm wondering about an HPA or 88g buttstock adaptor to go with it. What do you think? Is it possible to use 88g horizontally without it spitting liquid CO2 into the valve chamber?
Thanks my friend. It will work fine as a carbine. There are several folks that makes and sells adapters for these markers. Check out www.homedefence-24.com 😉. These markers are build for handling liquid CO2. The more the better it seems. The heat-core O-ring can blow out. It has happened to me 3 times. I just put them back in place and lube them well with silicone grease. After that they stay in place. Good luck 😃

Yes it looks like it was a hole new gun. But its only an attachment. However its from Umarex so quality and fit should be perfect. How it will work over time is not known...
I‘m not sure I understand. If you use this extender straight out of the box, it increses the Joule quite a lot? Or did I miss something? Let‘s say you have the 7,5 j version unmodified, add this Extender also unmodified. What do you think the Joule gain would be? Hi Cris. You will get more energy from the stock 7,5 joule HDR68 than the stock 7,5 joule HDR50. I think the devestators will work great in HDR50. But I think they are a bit small in the HDR68. You might have to wrap them with teflone-tape in the HDR68. If you get them to fit they should work fine. You should also try the aluminium balls in both markers. They seems to be the best ammo for all the Umarex homedefence markers.Take care and have a great weekend. Cheers Rune 😃👍

In 7.5 nothing is good for defense. When will you guys outside understand this finally? I guess rune refered on the fact that you modify the gun and the 7.5 seemed to be with a better final output. I personal would say that in the case of modification they have both pros and cons. The .50 penetrates better and has 6 shots. The .68 has the punch with lower chance of penetration, speaking about normal balls, spikes and darts is another subject.
@@sven471111 Yes. The more power the better. He asked me if he could use the Devestators in his 7,5 joule HDR markers. I dont have any but think they will work OK in cal 50, but not in the HDR68. I have seen Airgun Alley Miami where he tried Devestators in his HDR68 and the ammo just slide out the cylinder and barrel... For power he must remove the restrictors. I think the best ammo for this revolvers in any powersetting is the aluminium balls. Works great 😃👍
