Have an original blued one love it. That chrome looks good , enjoy it. Umarex makes some great replica airguns, I have many. Good vid.

Thank you. Very kind comments which are much appreciated. I must learn editing though!! Umarex do indeed make some good replicas just a shame they skimp on some basic stuff. They need to realise there are people out there, many, who will pay more for more detail etc. something I can’t understand is the power aspect. Co2 has its limits. I think we all understand that. And in the UK where I am there are power limits. But these guns fall well below what is legally allowed. Umarex can do better. Yes it will reduce the shot count per co2 but it would be worth it. Luckily, I have found a way to improve. I do intend to make a video on it but I need to demonstrate the difference and for that I need my chronograph which I still can’t find!! But bear with me. The video will come and it will be worth a watch!!

Hello again, and I love your attention to the detail like me. I am a model builder too, and one day all my replicas will duplicate real guns on their outer look. So we will have a lot to talk if you want. I can not own real guns here. So I turn to the replicas. (This is the main reason). And I get mad when I get cheap finishings, poor materials, and not realistic details/parts and so on... The "non existant" part on the front barrel axel here was probably due to the lack of quality control, rather than the "make it cheaper, as they not even notice"... I think... Recently I bought the Dan Wesson model 715 in. 177 with 6" chromed and the cilinder wobbles, a little and the action is not as smooth as it should, but for the price (around 140€ they think it is "normal" as most of the daily stuff we use here is "normal" not work properly... 😮😢). I want to fix it, as like you I want it to work better...) well, just stupidness...

I am back again right after I saw all this video. My Dan Wesson (from ASG) has the cilynder made exactly as yours with the different finnishing, to the rest of the the chromed replica, and I will find a way to show it to you, and this is just a little "proof" that despite the brand the models are all made in the same place.😢😮And the only half of the rifled barrel happened on another Dan Wesson shown here on RU-vid too!!! If I remember well, the 6" was in fact a 2,5"rifled and the rest was just a normal aluminum or brass tube!! 😢😢My new friend: WHAT IS GOING ON, HERE?!?!

It is indeed very strange that they make the barrels in this way. After watching other RU-vid videos on the bb version of the older m29 models is that Umarex have now installed full length 4.5mm smooth barrels instead of shorter 4.5mm and finishing with a 6mm barrel. This will surely improve accuracy and velocity. I think I will end up modifying it by fitting a full length rifled barrel. Just need to find the right one.

Hi again. Do you know why they call this gun Susi? I have watched both seasons of this movie and there is no Susi there.

I have no idea. Perhaps his pet name for the gun?

80's tv show called Sledgehammer. This resembles the main characters sidearm he used on that show.

Hi, thank you for subscribing and your message. I have tried it briefly and it’s very good. Basically the same as the m29. I took the barrel back out again and checked how snug a lead pellet was. I was pleasantly surprised. The barrel is a great fit for lead pellets. Better than the bb’s. I intend to do a video on it. I also need to find my bloody chronograph which I misplaced when I moved. It’s here somewhere!! It’s worth getting as the chrome finish is excellent. It is well made. The white grips are crap! Changing grips to the brown wood effect ones has improved the look hugely.

Looks cheap ! also poorly made . I have 2x Crosman .357 in .177 BB and they are well made and very accurate . love your review though .

Thanks for your comments. The finish and build is very good. Not so familiar with the Crosman. If they made the same model of the model 29 I would certainly check it out. But they don’t from what I can see. So I’m limited to what is available.

Crossman is from what I've seen a very very much strong guns than the rest. I'd love to know much about this brand, as they are not seen here where I am in Portugal 😢
