@@ianmangham4570well mine now fires at 520!!! 490!!! 458!!! Has co2 runs out!!! It blew a hole through my metal colounder!! Joke!!! Put a video out on you tube taking 3 to the face
Heres what you do, load the magazine with pepper balls with the last two being rubber balls. Then have your friend shoot you 4 times. The 2 rubber balls that hit you will stun you, the next 2 pepper balls will stop you. Dont believe me? Try it.
Here in the US we can only get the 7.5J one, it comes with a bright orange slide and a tube of 10 pepper balls if you live in a state where OC spray and ammo can be shipped. Considering getting one myself as a less than lethal tool to defend my family.
i live in california where the pepper balls are outlawed. but i bought the pepper balls from a private seller on ebay and he shipped it to me. also, i bought the steel balls of of amazon
If I were allowed to I would have a 12 Guage, but since I can't, and paintball guns aren't made to be untouched for a while, this will probably have do it
Would you recommend the HDP 50 for every day in side holster carry. I have the HDR 50 and I love it but it's to big to carry everyday, I am looking at the byrna sd but is to expensive. What other co2 pepper co2 sd would you recommend for inside holster carry. Thank you.
Hello. I do not have one but the instructions I read to never ever use paintballs in this weapon it is not a paintball gun it's not designed for paintballs. I also realize it's not a 9 mm just saying what I read. I know this is an old posting however I wanted to add what I just read a few minutes ago. Take care.
Paintball in the UK isn't governed by anything like UKARA at the time of writing this. moderncombatsports.co.uk/products/umarex-t4e-hdp-50-training-paintball-pistol-gun
...is not suitable for use on a paintball field! DO NOT USE THE 11 JOULE VERSION AT YOUR LOCAL SITE. Paintball goggles are NOT designed for that power and you will be liable for any injury caused!!!
I ordered the HDR (revolver) and got sent the 11j version which I returned. It’s my understanding that it is classed as a section 5 firearm! Not something I’d want to be going to court for with a mandatory 5 year sentence.
Its considered a paintball gun and therefore does not fall under airgun laws, which has a max limit of around 8 joules. I bought the 11 joule version, freaked out when i saw people say its a section 5 firearm. Then they explained everything to me. I ordered it from DAI gun store. Registered firearm dealer.
@@taichoudhury that’s a very grey area, certainly doesn’t help when the laws are clear as mud. Anything under a certain length that can propel an object at over I think it’s 8 jules is now classed as a section 5 firearm. I’ve not seen any evidence that shows that paint ball guns are exempt so if you can show me a link or something would be amazing 👍
@Keith Grout hey dude, the gun store was explaining all this to me. They were explaining the misunderstandings aswell. At the end of the day they are a registered firearms dealer and thats why I specifically asked them.
@@geo2472 hiya dude, its not my claims. Basically i was concerned it might be illegal so i called the gun store and asked them about the 11 joule thing. And that if it makes it a sec 5 firearm. They first assured me they are a registered firearms dealer and would never sell anything illegal. Then he went on to explain the different between an airgun and a paintball gun etc. He explained a lot more of which I cant remember. But i was satisified with his answers cz tbh if it is illegal i would have sent it back.
Can anyone answer this as it never gets addressed …. Does the 7.5 j version excel with steel or hard rubber? Can you shoot straight 5.0 steel rounds in the 7.5j version? Is it shit or better than rubber?
You can also legally buy the 11 joule version in the UK. Regardless whether this or weaker one (7.5) your'e fucked if you shoot an intruder in your home. Better to stop a person with power and protect your family as you're likely going to prison whatever so just deal with the job at hand.
The problem with these type of home defense weapons is that as soon as the criminal realizes they didn't actually get shot. They are coming right back in
Criminals aint that determined. Most criminals want an easy time. If they have any resistance they aint coming back in for more. I worked in the police force for 10 years.
Oh my. Don't use paintballs in the gun plz ever . It voids the warranty and can damage your launcher aka marker. . Take off the suppression cap and you can almost double your fps
