I'm from the U.S. and I own a few real guns but I'm looking to buy some none lethal weapons to add to my arsenal... I appreciate the gun review and will strongly consider buying these. Thank you.

Have just bought both these weapons (pistols). Awesome. Very loud.... great home defence weapons.

A pain test for each model...though not much fun..would be a truly good guide for how useful they would be in case of emergency💖

These look like a lot of fun to shoot, especially the revolver. As many have said, for home defense I cant see a rubber ball, even the ones with steel embedded in them doing much to actually stop someone who wants to do violence to you. The pepper balls, though, could really mess someone up for a good 15 minutes and likely get them to run off. Apparently you can get molds to make custom ammo for these, so who knows what crazy crap people can come up with.

These are VERY easy to mod for much more power. I have the .68 shotgun and the .50 revolver, and they are beasts. For the .50 and the .68 I keep a couple mags of rubber coated steel (well, no mags for the .68 obv haha), and a few mags of devastators, and they do damage.

I quite fancy the pistol version of this. Firstly for the fun factor plinking. Secondly to keep in my night stand. I'm assuming that the pistols are classed as UK air guns?

i have the pistol T4E 11J and its exceptionally accurate from about 5-6meters which is a range of a home weapon i would dare to say.

I bet that firing magazine of steelcorerubberballs at 5 meters in leg will slow down intruder. And I’m talking here about tuned 20J version. After that I can use defence spray and that’s it. This gun is definitely a good tool in your arsenal when you have a good plan.

I'm a massive umarex fan but what do you think of the Tippmann TPX pistol marker .68 calibre? I own one but have had trouble with it not puncturing the CO2 cartridges. Thank you so much also great video! You have got a new subscriber! Brilliant content!

Good thing to point out is the shotgun FPS goes way down if you shoot both at once. Longer range you would want to shoot single shots for sure. :)

So the UK cops couldn't tell you if that .68 cal side-by-side qualifies as a firearm due to the power, eh? One thing I've learned about cops _anywhere_ is that they rarely know the laws they're supposed to enforce. They'll just make the arrest and let the courts settle it. Living in a gun-unfriendly state in the US, I will say I've considered that CO2 revolver as something to use before grabbing my AR so long as the threat isn't packing a gun.

In the southern USA, we often shoot each other with this stuff for fun. Gotta watch the eyes though…

90 jul... 🤣 i think you may of got that a bit wrong there matey! The HDS is 16 jul at best. The HDR and HDP are between 7.5 and 11 jul, depending on where you buy.

For home defense the targets need to be much closer, like 2 meters.

Why is there a dog running around a firing range ?

Is there a parts kit like new seals and small screws available for the HDR50/TR50 yet or do you still need to buy a 2nd one for parts?

Just a heads up .68 cal is better than the .50 even if it’s 2 shot vs 6; joule calculations will show the difference.

If it stings at 20 meters with chalk imagine how much it will hurt at 10 meters with a metal slug/power mod

never use this weapon from 25m, the max distance that makes sense is 5m, and if you use lethal weapon like pistol, then don't shoot from 25m either because you'll hit everything except a target unless u r a professional shooter that spends each Friday on shooting range firing approx 100 bullets

Got tr50 revolver....Just bought a few of these. It says use rws spring cylinder oil on moving parts trigger hinge and co2 cap? Should I also put it on the cylinder? Should I be using RWS CHAMBER LUBE in the chamber? if so where would I put it, the top of the chamber?? Finally, is silicone spray good for spraying into chamber? Thanks!

How many joules were the 3 launchers that were tested? I know that there are different regulated ones in the UK and elsewhere..

These are not meant for a range of 25 meters, but for ranges expected inside one's home, probable 2 to 5 meters.

If it only "stings" it will not be sufficient in a dangerous situation.

If you're looking for a good less lethal shotgun I'd suggest the HDX. 16 rounds and it's apparently super accurate. Far as pistols go, I'm supers happy with the HDR 50.

Interesting with the HDS68 shotgun and the police unsure if it is classed a cat1 , i purchased the 16j version in the Uk and have subsequently returned it due to what someone described as a "grey" area with the power and the rubber balls. I was also told not to use paintball rounds in the shotgun in 16j due to them exploding in the barrels, was a shame to return it but just felt like to much of a risk having something classed as home defence with out any clarity on the law. Great video though.

And with a little altering you can get 300 fps out of the shotgun. if you shoot Devastators out of it at 300fps the person on the receiving end is having a very bad day. 👍👍

I never rely on airgun for home defence ,just trust in my 2011 STI .45 (14round). Shock power and knock out power are real.

You should try the hdr50 I have It’s heavily modded and will punch a 4g .50 cal steel core nylon ball through a 5lbs chicken breaking bones all the way Would definitely be a firearm in the uk 😂😂

That isn't 90 joules. Buddy would be down on the ground writhing in pain. It could have even shattered his shoulder bone. Even hopped up Valkens, First Strikes and modified Byrna TCP compacts are typically only reaching 55-60 joules. And that much energy will shred a rotisserie chicken breaking the bones, punch thru and explode coconuts, punch thru a pizza pan, shatter car windows, break facial bones etc etc.

But which is the most powerful piston /gun you can buy in Europe these days ?

Hi all just started playing with air guns more so with paintball markers but I'm clueless on the law here in the UK 🇬🇧 I have just got my self the hdr 50 7.5 joules what ever that means been told 7.5 is OK for that gun but I don't understand it all ..my question is umarex Have come out with a new gun the umarex hdx 68 pump shotgun and have it in 7.5 and 16 joules what I like to know is can I have the 16 joules one in the UK or will I get in trouble having the 16 joules 🇬🇧 and all so with paintball markers is it OK to use rubber balls in the UK with the paintball gun I'm desperately need the right answer as I don't want to be in trouble with the law or fancy going prison lol ..so is it OK to gave the 16 joules ..umarex hdx pump shotgun...and can you use rubber ball in paintball markers ?? Or is it only just paintballs hope you can help thanks

The only “less lethal” I would recommend if you can’t get guns: Winchester model 70 .45 cal air rifle, .357 bulldog bullpup, .30 cal hatsan blitz full auto air rifle, ar6 crossbow, adder crossbow, aea defender airringer as a conceal carry. ALL lethal and great for home defense if you got a bat or knife lbvs. Also a tippman stormer marker with either rubber balls, pepper balls, marbels, or mixed(believe it or not) is another that do damage AND shoots loads of rounds

Ammo for this is too expensive to make it a viable plinking / training gun but is someone insists it might work allright for these applications. However, self / home defense is a big NO, NO as it might very well kill you. An armed robber won't hesitate to shoot you with a real gun if he sees anything even remotely ressembling a gun. Please keep that in mind guys!

I don't mean to seem rude about this I own the double barrel 1 and 6 shot 1 and I get my target to 20 yd away with no problem I know what that dude's doing it he knows how to shoot them shooting or not but yeah I can hit him at 20 yd away 1520 yd away yeah not a problem 10 yd away and hit my target and I don't know where your at any UK but where I live at we can have the pepper balls I understand each places different but I don't live in U Kr Canada will I do that I can on and had the pepper around for it
