DISCLAIMER!!!!!!!! THIS SONG WILL NOT BE FEATURED IN THE FAF V2 UPDATE!!!!!!!! just for fun i decided to revisit one of my oldest fnf songs now that im a lot more competent with music production .. enjoy!!!! art by croc
Umbra was, and remains, one of my Favorite FNF Songs. I love the use of the “Serenade” Motif, or as it’s just put in the FNaF Fandom the “Shadow Bonnie Tune”. It’s a shame this won’t be in V2 as this is a sweet remaster that pays respects and doesn’t stray far from the Original, but that’s fine. Keep making Bangers Punkett.
This mod as a whole has the potential to be the definitive FNAF mod of all time in the community, and I know we have few mods from the franchise out there, but that's precisely why the mod will qualify as such: one of the first and best
i feel like whilst composition and song production wise it's a better song by far and away, i kinda miss the old instruments? gave it a much more nostalgic feel, and it made it feel charming and unique compared to a lot of other songs, which this song lacks due to using more traditional instruments. It's not a bad remake, hell no, in a lot of margins it's a lot better, but I feel like part of the charm and allure of Umbra due to it primarily using 8-bit instruments from the FNaF games, even after the drop, was lost in this remaster.
Wow.. I’m so blown away from the absolute GLOWUP Umbra received here. And wow.. does really it show. Right off the bat, the music production is SO much more clean. The kick & snares pack quite a punch & make me wanna bop my head. The Hardcore section is so well done too, prob my fav part of the song. And the Breakcore sections are just as amazing as well. The classic “Yea! Woo!” sample later in the instrumental is such a nice touch as well. And the glitchy effects is fucking superb! I’m so happy with how this came out, incredible work!
I was hesitate to listen to this at first, I was worried I wouldn't like this song, as the original (in my opinion) is the best in FNF history, but honestly, this is just perfect, how can someone make the most perfect song even better!? Honestly I could go into detail on why this is the true best FNF song in history, but we'd be here all day if I did, regardless, I wish you the best luck in whatever project you do next
this had to be one of my favorite songs from the mod and i have to say the remaster does not disappoint it doesn't feel like a drag after minute 3 anymore which makes me happy
HOLY CRAP YES YES YES YES YES YES!!!!!!!!! *I LOVED SONG SO MUCH. IT WAS SO UNDERRATED AND NO CARED ENOUGH FOR THE EMOTION AND RAW POWER IT HAD WHEN IT FIRST CAME OUT.* *AND NOW YOU'VE ELEVATED IT BEYOND THAT.* *IT EVEN HAS THE "BONNIE'S LULLABY" THAT I WISHED WAS IN THE ORIGINAL BECAUSE IT FIT SO WELL.* *IT'S HIGHER PITCHED.* *SHADOW BONNIE IS ACTUALLY GROWLING AND SCREAMING IN THIS ONE.* *SERIOUSLY, THIS IS ON PAR WITH FOLLOWED V2 FROM OURPLE GUY, HOLY CRAP ITS SOOOOO GOOOOOOOD!* *I'M LITERALLY SHAKING AND CRYING RIGHT NOW FROM HOW GOOD THIS IS AND HOW WELL IT CAPTURES THE EMOTIONS AND TRAGEDY OF THE LOSS OF INNOCENT LIVING TO A MURDEROUS KILLER, TO THE SOULS TRAPPED WITHIN THE ANIMATRONICS, TO THE DARKNESS AND FAINT GLIMMERS OF HOPE THAT EXIST THROUGH THIS WHOLE FRANCHISE.* *PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, I BEG YOU, ADD THIS IN THE V2 UPDATE, IT NEEDS TO BE EXPERIENCED AND HEARD BY THE WORLD.*
that was sweet, sweet fuckin music to my ears now if that was like the old song with a somber, metalish tune holy fuck I would've cried it would've made my whole year istfg
i was thinking about this song being remastered like yesterday and here it is, x3 although a bit too much for my taste, this remaster sure sounds a lot better than the first version! :3
As good as this is, the whole thing about original umbra that made me love it so much was how throughout most of the song the music box of serenade was still there, that one thing made it better than this new one for me, this still blows alot of the other fnf songs outta the water tho.
They got the boys from Friday Night Crunchin They ain’t that doomed but Punkett gone is a massive loss Edit: Just read your comment, Umbra in the mod is cooked
melody at parts is simply not as catchy (4:05 is good though) a bit too stereo/reverby too and bfs kinda drowned out for this style to even work the style itself also doesnt fit this song at all lol 2:06 this part is a good addition though nice
