this song is so beautiful. what I love about UMI’s music is that she always talks about the other spectrum of love, not just lovey dovey feelings, but the desperation and the miscommunications that come with it. it makes us feel so much more humane knowing that someone else feels that way that we do. Yeek also killed this!! Match made in heaven. will definitely be on repeat.

This reminds me of my ex. He never talked about his feelings and always would hide his motivations. I know he did it out of hurt but as someone who was trying my best to know him, understand him as a person and not just my boyfriend it was tiring. How can you do right by someone without knowing who they really are? Word of advice be open and honest in all of your relationships especially romantic ones. If you feel that someone is unable to handle and cherish the person you truly are, don’t be with them. Your not only fooling them, but your mainly playing yourself. i heard about this song my senior year through a friend, even though i liked the song i never listened to it fully just the end part “bought a bouquet when will you try to be okay” i just loved the way it sounded i didn’t actually look into the lyrics at all so i didn’t feel anything personal about it... recently i talked to someone heavy but it was determined that it was only temporary (we never said this to each other but definitely the vibes we gave off) but this has to be the best person i ever talked to.it was never a dull moment but at times i would think how we never talk about anything personal like at all. personally i’m not the type to do so anyway plus him (i’m an aquarius he’s a sagittarius)so i thought it was just perfect honestly only good vibes and nothing personal/emotionally. but even though i loved our time together i know for a fact i don’t love him. this song was in my recommendations and i almost cried.. what happened if we applied that personal factor to our “little relationship”.. could it had become something real? someone i was so comfortable with.. i feel like i let the chance to show the real me to someone slip through my fingers.. i feel like i should’ve tried. what happens if i don’t meet someone i can be comfortable with and have to continue living my life not letting anyone know me on a personal level. i don’t want a relationship with him or for him to love me i just think it would’ve been nice for someone like him to know the real me.
