Now I'm in a relationship with my favorite person and if we were to break up, I wouldn't feel depressed or overly hurt, because I put myself first and I've learned that it's okay to break away from people.

But if you haven’t talked to him about this recent drawback thing he’s been doing then that last parts irrelevant. Cause he could just be getting comfortable which then you gotta make sure you don’t allow him to do so. That’s when he starts to ‘think’ you don’t require as much effort to ‘maintain.’ Which if he starts to neglect you then I’d say he’s dead weight.
