UMI, V - wherever u r (ft. V of BTS) official lyric video reaction! 

Their voices sound sooo so pretty together, literally had this on repeat since it came out. Umi did a live on her Instagram afterwards to talk about it and she said that she wrote the song originally for her Grandma who lives in Japan as shes half Japanese which is why there are English, Korean and Japanese lyrics throughout the video! And that she seen Tae posting her singing his song Love Me Again on his insta story so she messaged him and this is how it came about :)

Tae shared umi's music a couple of times on his weverse lives and one day a 3-4 months back u guess he shared one of her song on ig and she was on hiking with her mom at that time her mom encouraged her to dm him on ig and she did, she said i just typed everything that she likes BTS music since she was in middle school she also covered some of their songs and if you're ready than we can make a song together and she just threw her phone lol and she also said that he replied in very quickly and they just made this song in just a month, when someone asked her if she's gonna do another song with V in future she said i want to do it in person next time and also i think we both love to make songs about love so i would love to make a love song with him again 😭💜

for me, taehyung's voice sounds like grandma's hot chocolate on winter days, it's thick but it's smooth and sweet and warm and tender, and givin us the cosy feelings. so comforting. sometimes it also sounds lika a gentle lapping of the ocean, it's refreshing, soothing and calming, sometimes it also sounds like a blanket, warm and made us feel comfortable, feels like a warm hug. his voice sounds magical, i love him for doing this kind of music.
