Another thing to note is boys are not allowed to enter women’s gates even if they are under age. I was told I had to leave with him his father. Several other young boys were also refused entry at the women’s gate.

My registration on nusuk is not going through, keeps giving me error and try later. Any advice?

@@Muslimtravelgirl - I am not sure of that. Right after Isha, I went in front of gate 37 (my appointment was from 08:30 pm to 09:00 pm). It was 3 long lines. It took me some time to go there as it was my first time for me through Nusuk. But the brothers (cleaner brothers that keep haram area spotless) never let me down. MaaShaAllah, they always provided me right info. The line was long, and I was thinking it might take a long time, but surprisingly it moved fast. There were many sisters without QR codes/confirmations. FYI - the line was way far from the actual door. When we were near the haram, three lines became single lines and 2/3 sisters checked the phone confirmation or hard copy. Only confirmed ones could go inside the rope barrier. We had to wait 25/30 mins then Alhamdulillah inside. Through Nusuk to get the appointment is a little difficult. But I must say Alhamdulillah I could pray in 3/4 areas of Rawdah, and they do not force you to get out after 15/20 mins like before. Alhamdulillah Rawdah area for women is big, and you can get great ibadah time if you want. (May Allah SWT accept it). My last Rawdah visit was in 2019. ......apologies for the long note. :)

MashaAllah great. May Allah accept it. I haven't been in years as my first time I almost got into stampede. Glad they monitor better. I think there might be something for them from Gate 32 and I guess better than nothing.

@@Muslimtravelgirl - I heard ‘saying salam’ was only for men. But Alhamdulillah recently they started for women too. And that is at the gate number 32. (I was not sure as I did not have chance to explore). But have seen many sisters are rushing that gate right after Isha. Forgot to mention, as they started Rawdah visit at gate 37, portion of men’s Rawdah has been opened for women now, as there are no schedule for men then. Those schedules/times are only for women. That way Alhamdulillah it’s not that small area, it used to be. Jazakallahu khayr for accepting my replies. I tried to explain to the best of my knowledge 🙏🏼

That's a valuable information sister, So nusuk app is not for praying at rawdahi? It's just for saying salam at rawdah and that's it?and for both we need to go via different gates. Also plz make it clear that once we enter a particular gate are there any signs to guide to area of prayer at rawdah ?

No. No PCR or other vaccines required.

This never happened to me I was allowed to take zam zam on tourist visa with Saudi airlines

@@absbse The sister is right. It's the luck of the draw. I think it's about who is selling it to you on the day. The guy at the window literally threw my papers at me and said you're a tourist, no zamzam. He told me to speak to the head supervisor of the airline who said it is the Kingdom policy or something. It happened to another family on our flight too as I spoke to them afterwards. Our travel agent had come just 2 weeks before and they were all allowed to take 2 bottles of ZamZam each. It really just depends on who you deal with. Qadar Allah I guess.

I would have complained to their manager in person and in writing, this is the difference between people in Jeddah airport and madinah - the people in madinah airport and madinah itself are much friendlier, respected, helpful and kind, completely opposite to people in Makkah and Jeddah

@@absbse He literally threw the visa paper and told me to go away. I went to every supervisor in the airport to ask for help and for them to allow me to take just 1 bottle. After sending me from person to person they got quite angry and said it is the rules of the Kingdom and they aren't allowed to do anything to break their laws. I contacted the travel agent whilst at the airport and he also told me to just let it go as they can make things difficult if they get angry enough. It was a horrible experience. I think next time I will leave from Madinah InshaAllah. I flew into Saudi from Madinah and had a pleasant experience. Jeddah airport is just awful in my experience.

Did you manage to get zamzam? What I meant is a small 500ml bottle I have been doing for years is OK. Didn't say put 5lt bottle in your suitcase this will be taken away. So by the time i went on 31st Dec they gave up on even trying to check permits :)

@@Muslimtravelgirl No I didn’t bother with smaller bottles in the suitcase 🧳. It was too full of dates anyway 😂. I just took 2x5l bottles that I was entitled to at the airport. But like you said the 5l bottles are available in a few Islamic shops here in London, and elsewhere if you really need it.

And as I mentioned in the video this is the issue. You got water om tourist visa same time I went, the people who I know that went same time didn't because of the "rule". So truly the luck of the draw in this case. I wish they were honest.

@@Muslimtravelgirl we are so confused do they have designated area where you can wear your ihram or its just the regular bathrooms in plane✈️ Also is it wise first land in Madina and then go Miqat location for ihram? 🙏

@@jamesr4806 just normal bathroom, you will have to do it in there or wear before you board the plane. If you are coming from US and you can go medina first i think its easier for you, you rest enjoy medinah and then take the train for makkah wear your ihram on the train and they also tell you the miqat point.

Everyone needs permission, irrespective of gender. You can do either one of those things, but especially for Rawdah i suggest before coming since places are more limited.

if they dont have phones then no, i am not sure the age but in general 12 yr old doesn't need it. the 14 is still young as well it will depend if someone asks.

Yes on the top floor is not busy! look at the short clips i posted on this video , but this is December peak time and also Friday jummah! so apart from that it is not too bad. there are crowds but there is also space on the top floors :) sorry i made you feel this way

You don't need vaccines basically. Only things that are asked on the application to provide

i do get a small bottle and fill it in my bag, not a huge one like 300ml or smth esp for kids, i personally didnt have an issue dont know.

There are zamzam water taps on the outer wall of Haram by king Fahad gate.remember the wall only not where the wudu areaa are that's just drinking water not zamzam.also at certain times they bring zamzam plastic drums out side in masjid nabawi either asr or maghrib not sure.ask those workers in there .they are very helpful.

I would like to update that zamzam gallons were available at bin dawood Mekkah, we stored some small bottles in our booked luggage as we were not sure if they will issue us zamzam on tourist visa to take back home, but when we showed our nusk app umrah appt at zamzam station at Jeddah Airport we were issued zamzam gallons without any problems, these were booked without an issue by our airline Gulf Air until UK. At check-in they asked us to take out any other water bottles in booked luggage so unfortunately we had to gaveup the ones we were taking initially. dated 4.march.2023

Very small. But you can keep checking and also go to gate 32. It's the green bit. My family was in medinah this week said some get in without pass after isha but hard and it's luck

if you can't register them they cand book Rawdah, set them up with an email. for umrah it is not an issue but rawdah is tricky

also think about your connection when taking zamzam because some countries might not allow it further.

Walaikumussalam, it depends, normally scholars say one shouldn't be performing more than 1 umrah in each visit as it is not sunnah...so better to keep it or perform 2 (from Aisha masjid)

Yes one factor of Umrah is the element of travel. So you need to go to another miqat and re-enter. The nearest miqat is Masjid Aisha which is about 20 minutes away. So grab a taxi/uber and head to the masjid, make intention for doing Umrah ... and inshallah it will be accepted.

yes you always need irrispective of your travel destination unless it has your name clearly but then some would want to see it depending on quantity

I will be solo travelling from Medina to Jeddah.

And this solo travelling is on Umrah visa. I have my Umrah visa and will be performing Umrah InshaAllah in coming week.

That will not be allowed, if you plan umrah, you will need to be in ihram, but can rest and sleep in hotel and go for umrah next day
