Our ancestors are very smart, check the whole places they found and settled, are founded 100% on Igbo traditions and culture. The most important ones are 4 market days and ewaji, the names and many others. It's natural when people migrate, they take their culture and language, food etc. It's normal when people migrate their tongue will change. I'm from Arondizuogu, my ancestors came from Arochukwu,, our tongue is completely different from Arochukwu. It's shocking the decendant of igbos are questioning who they are, it's a big slap on the faces of our ancestors founded those towns, and they will be turning in their grave. I live England UK, here in UK every region speak with different dialet and they understand each others and the language is English. UK have many overseas territory and each one believed that they are British.

All these contradictions don't make sense. The original visitor to the area called Edo is the royal family. And the head of that family married a local woman. The significance is that all the inhabitants of the area are Igbo's.

Have you listened to Soludo, the governor of Anambra state address his people, he speaks in English. Or do you want to talk about Ohanaeze, its language of instruction is English, the two men have come a long way, this has to be acknowledged.
We are Igbos not ibo. This is exactly how they were able to dismantle the unity of Igbo's, because they corrupted most things and we did not debunk them rather we helped them pushed the narrative just like we continually do until date.
