This video could just as easily been called "UMVC3 Yipes and Chris Matrix Commentary Exhibition, featuring a fighting game." Hype as hell match, funny as hell commentary.
The first match is like Euler's identity for Doom. TAC proto-infinite, butter gun confirmation and team supers. More than half of Doom's advanced tech, demonstrated to the public for the first time in a single match.
Panther is richer because of the country but more specifically because it has the only source of Vibranium on the planet. BP's wealth pretty much shits on any of person's in the MU.

I can't be the only one whose jaw dropped through the floor from the Proton Cannon into Wesker's Level 3. I don't think I'd be able to continue playing from the sheer shock and awe if that happened to me.
Alujard and Marlin Pie, one of my two fav players fighting each other. Great matchup. MArlinPie with his godlike execution and Alukard just being that Genius that he is with Skrull and Iron Man.
@jackalhunt1I agree and understand all you've said except for the combo mechanic. Level 3's don't get scaled and there are many combo vids uploaded that show these types of combos. My original comment stated "potentially taking out a whole team" due to that because building meter is fairly easy in this game and as the next gets tagged in, they could get caught in a mix up
Serious question. Did the marlin pie feeling himself video get removed from RU-vid? If not can someone please link it? This is serious fighting game history lost in time
This set....was JIZZLIKE!!!!!!!! The combos,The commentary,Viper,Doom and Skrull all over the place!(and I don't even play those characters) Too awesome...
I still think Clock has the best Doom overall. But dayum son, those MarlinPie combos! Really refreshing to see a top level Skrull and Iron Man, don't get to watch that too often.
The majority of his victories heavily banked on Super Skrull. When Wesker was on point, he usually ended up dead. For the most part, his job was just as cleanup whereas Iron Man did a lot of the actual work.
You buffer the inputs during the freeze animation and press the corresponding button when it ends. You don't have to perfect with the timing but do it right when the freeze animation ends. Also, the super has to have start up invincibility or it doesn't even come out.
MarlinPie should take up Iron Man as his anchor instead of Ammy. He is the only one capable of doing some insane Air Jab combos with characters like that

eh nvm I found what R2 does and its pretty significant. I still feel there should be a more reliable way for blocking, but they pretty much used up every single button. And for a breaker, its input can be like from MK9, just hit R2 and point in the direction of the attack
when you do a downward team aerial combo it gives you an extra meter if the combo goes uncountered. i think side exchange takes a meter away from the other player and up exchange doesnt do anything special as far as i know
Doom's part at 2:29 is just too much. I mean, my mouth was agape the entire time. While AlukardNY is a great player and definitely a worthwhile competitor, there is no question that the guy MarlinPie truthfully is the star. I have not seen a player execute like that in any of the pro matches. Not like that. People like MarlinPie are the reason fighting game developers do what they do. Outstanding and truthfully inspiring.
@Gamdeng2 I know his first couple of inputs just from looking at it... L,M,F.D.,L,M,Flight... from there the inputs are too fast to see as he does a couple of diagonal dash ups w/ a lot of lights. I just downloaded the video and will slow it down to study the input later. Not only does it look real flashy, but it also has great DLC possibility, another TAC into your 3rd, or a lvl 3 HC.
Le wild doom combo: L - M - forward H > dash cancel > L - M > flight cancel > L - L > diagonal up dash cancel > L - L > dash cancel > L - L - M > diagonal up dash cancel > L- (delay) L - M > diagonal up dash cancel > M - H - M - M - plasma beam (not sure what version) - M - molecular shiled (version ??) - Blast Sphere (super).
Actually, there were a ton of infinites you could pull off in part two, and there was no way to get out of them most of the time, so this is actually a step UP. Granted, Street Fighter has never been this ridiculous, and it actually takes more skill to play, but that doesn't mean they don't have to think when playing MvC3. If any of us tried to take these guys on, I'm pretty sure they'd wipe the floor with us cause there's more going on than we realize. :)
Black Panther is the richest, mainly because he owns and controls the Vibranium deposits, and can make an insane amount of money from the smallest sale of it.
Oh really? Okay I stand corrected. But why didn't more people play with him then? Compared to other characters I didn't see many Dooms on the pro circuit until Ultimate showed up. There must have been something he was missing that he now has. Probably the Foot Dive loop. :)
@perereca I agree. Ammy does not make for a very good anchor. While he is able to fight with Ammy, I feel like marlinpie uses her more for her perks (assist, slow-down hyper, etc.) as opposed to a real stand-alone killer like his viper and doom. Finding a better anchor that equally or further complements his team will make him even more amazing.
