Haha, I realize now that I look like a crazy stalker, seeing as the last 3 comments (over a year apart) are all from me. Nova just happens to be my favorite character, so when I get the Marvel itch and I want to work on something new, I fall back on this vid. Glad I could help :P

great video! i normally like to keep combos short and simple because of the pressure I go through trying to win a match. I normally just do his bnb that I like: whatever to launch, SJ.H,fly, H, cancel fly, falling H, land, S.H, S, SJ.H, S, land, F+H, S, SJ.H xx Super Nova (f,qcf+2A)

Great Video. By the way, you can get another hit in your TAC combos: At the end, after ground bouncing them with f.h you can do another rocket punch L before the super ender.

Hey Drakengard can you help me out? I'm trying to set up a grav pulse in order to do double hyper. I'm trying to do this by using Dorm's Liberation assist. Here's the setup after an air series: Ground pound, H + Liberation, grav pulse, into hyper. The problem is that the opponent gets hit by the pulse to much and it disappears. Is there a better way of doing this with Nova and Dorm assist?

There's some sexy stuff in here. Can Phoenix not just block at 1:30? I'm aware of similar tech but it always makes use of command throws that cant be blocked or teched (Frank's servebot head for example) but this seems blockable. I guess to expand that, you could call an assist and force her into a block string then mix up but it depends if the assist gets knocked back by the burst...

Hit H on the way up, fly, airH, unfly, airH on the way down, relaunch. It took me forever to figure that out, and that's only after I saw a Nova vid where the guy put the inputs onscreen.

Modest Mouseketeer I'm glad you posted this... The one thing I have never been able to figure out were those H "loops". Nemo, Yipes and Infrit (primary prof. Nova players) use this repeatedly over something like a simple L, M, H, QCB+S, L, M, H, QCB+L, L, H, S, DP+L, DP+AA. No guides for Nova BnBs made much sense to me. The great thing about H loops is less hit decay allowing for more fluidity and experimentation beyond your first OTG.

sup man its me again, just found out that when you do a down/up exchange in the middle of the screen you can follow up with a M H M-Rocket Punch and dash in with a L H Fly ect. you can start doing simular combos around 4:00. you share tech with me so its only best i do the same. hope this gives you an idea for a tac video using M-Rocket Punch

actually... can you test this with something like She-Hulk in the team? armour through the burst, let her block, go straight into any hyper then DHC into She-Hulk's anti-air grap hyper? See if that's escape-able? If not, I'll do it when I get home from work

After watching this a few more times, I honestly don't understand (outside of monitary issues due to traveling) how we haven't seen you in tournies. If you are as mechanically sound as you are good at combos, you'll put Infrit and Nemo's Novas to shame.
