Some SOLO COMBOS with DANTE on UMVC3!
Since DANTE is one of my main characters and my 3rd favorite, I ended up doing a longer video with more combo options! Some of the combos are very similiar, but I wanted to show the damage for spending more or less meter!

Um actually dante is straight up just regular dante from dmc3 just in fighting game form which says alot of what dmc3, 4, and 5 are in other words the dmc series are pretty much a fighting game series in hack n slash form heck look at the move lists in each game!

This is always a tricky thing to learn for new players, but once you get it down, you'll do it consistently!

I think adding the c.H mash early hurts later damage scaling, also there were a few combos where you didn't utilize your wall bounce.

I have a bit of a long question that is about your button layout. It seems you have M+S mapped to one button for Bold Move, but I'm having trouble finding space on my ps4 controller for that. I want to play Zero/Dante so I'm doing L2 = L (buster hold) and R2 = M+H (for dash/super). What do you suggest? Thanks for the enteraining and helpful resources!

How do you do the Clay Pigeon loops? I always end up getting Prop Shredder everytime I press S after the first Clay Pigeon. Is there like a technique to make it easier or do I just have to time it perfectly?

It's mostly timing, but there are a few tricks to make it easier for you to get the timing right without letting the combo drop or without getting the prop shedder... I intend to make a video explaining what you shoud watchout for to do this combo, cause there are many variables and you also have variaties of the loop where you do more or less shots...

So I have a combo challenge for you: The challenge will be done with dante on point. It must start in the corner that uses Twister 3 times and has devil trigger. It must kill Thor x factor is allowed, but only dante can be used, so no tac or thc. Any assist can be used and as much super meter as you want. MUST BE STYLISH!

Hahaha You get used to it bro! I play on PS4 controller, but it really takes some time to feel confortable! Just don't push too hard so that you don't hurt yourself and your fingers will start adapting!

After stinger you have to input "Bold Cancel" (Attack + S) and then input teleport (Down Down S)... Check out the inputs on screen to get a clear view of what I'm saying

You have to bold cancel after stinger and before Volcano (Attack + S)

It's not dead at all bro! Idk how the situation is on Xbox, but the majority of people play on PC through Parsec! I highly recommend you look it up cause it's the best experience you can have in this game!

You are probably too far from your opponent to hit it... This combo doesn't work on all characters, only on bigger ones and you gotta be very close to hit them

What do you mean "whiffs"? Like you don't hit the character with it? The only possibility I can think of is if you're too far away...

Try to let the opponent as high as you can after each launcher before doing the shoots... This should give you more time to recover from the shoots before the next launcher! Also, I recommend starting with all the shoots, since they will push the opponent higher as well, making it easier to do! After you get used to it, you can move into less shoots (it deals more damage)

You have to use Dante's Bold move (Atack + S) before inputing the teleport! This will allow you to cancel out of stinger!

You gotta input acid rain + up to get it to work... Anytime you want to input a special attack after launcher (prop shedder has launcher properties) you gotta input the special move you want + up, so that you can cancel your super jump into your special move

Dante is one of the hardest characters to do combos in this game, so don't feel discouraged! It does take some time to learn him, but it's so worth it!

I just started playing bro I already love the game. My cousins used to play back then with arcade sticks. I always thought it was badass. I played back then but they always whoop my ass with like 100 combos. 😂😂😂 I barely get 37 hits. How do you cancel attack and all that?

@@Adriel_Aviado Happens to everybody man hahaha The beginning is hard indeed... Most of the attacks you just have to do the inputs to cancel, no secret... Dante has an annoying thing though, which is cancelling after stinger... To cancel from stinger into a Special move you gotta use his Bold Move (Attack + S) before doing the input of the Special Move you wanna cancel into...
