It would be cool if they add also his doppelganger, maybe in a similar way the Morrigan's super works. Of course, Vergil will be too much op and it will break the game, but still...
I mean I have one way to balance it, take a note from Morrigan and lock it behind a Ultra Combo move, that way the doppelganger shows up to join Vergil in whipping ass.
@@jnut9494 im aware of that. when i say "dante"-esque i mean that in base game, Vergil mostly uses Yamato for combos, whereas Dante, with all of his weapons and tools, has basically a vast amount of ways to do combos. IMO what this mod does is given Vergil a more free flowing way to do combos, much like his more stylish brother.
@@electrix_panadal00 base vergil was dmc3 vergil who honestly just had a pretty small moveset, they basically just gave him his force edge and beowulf specials and filled up the rest with yamato, which was probably a smart move considering yamato is the most vergil weapon vergil has
This version of Vergil, more than any other DMC rep in Marvel, feels like actually playing a DMC character in a fighting game. You can pull off some legit combos that are straight out of the series with his absolutely crazy bullshit.
It's uncanny how well animated his attacks are, they look exactly like they do in DMC 4 and 5 and they're so fluid and natural you'd think it was his normal moveset, it's kinda blowing my mind a little
I want to know how he was able to get some of his 4SE and 5 movesets without his jacket model not looking stiff. All his sword moves look so fluid you would swear that it was a part of the UMvC3 game already!
If the normal version of this guy wasn't scary enough. The most terrifying thing IMO is beowulf being able to charge for two reasons: more damage and two, slowing down or speeding up block timing fooling the enemy into more pain.
Not only did they add the three specials from each weapon, but also the PERFECT JUDGEMENT CUT MECHANIC?! insane. I sqw that for the brief moment it was shown. ACTUALLY insane, incorporating perfect cut
DMC5 Vergil should just be a solo character if somehow another breakthrough happen in UMvC3 get 1v3. People are saying where is doppelganger the gimmick could be that are his assets as a solo character.
Vergil while fighting Wolverine. Vergil: Like a soon broken mutant once said. You're either perfect...or not me. [Dashes to Wolverine Speed Blitzing him before he can move. Uppercuts him with a dragonbreaker which sends him flying 50 feet into the air. Then Vergil's doppelganger appears behind wolverine. And Dive Kicks into his back with beowulf knocking him back down to the ground. Right before Wolverine lands Vergil air slices Wolverine with yamato slowing down for a second before sheathing the blade. And then wolverine explodes]. In the Background the rest of the men are pissed. DMC1 Dante gets pissed turns into Sparda and tries to attack DMC5 Vergil with the sparda blade. Vergil then blocks the blade with one finger and pushes Dante back and knocking him out. Before walking away disappointed that this is all the Marvel and Capcom Cast to fight him even with their modded strength lol
Ironically there is a singular balance to this nightmare of a character as if he wasn't one already; devil trigger AKA X-factor on steroids without using X-factor costs three guages to activate instead of one like normal, you know because that'd definitely make Vergil easier to go against.
dos anyone know how to get the aerial rave finisher into aerial cleave otg to work? after the finisher I fell like I never have enough time to get the cleave I only get an air normal.
Vergil mains be like. Do you want level 1 vergil without mods or Boss level with mods, Either way you're already dead you just haven't caught up yet. 🤣😂
