UMVC3 Magneto Hyper Grav Loop Tutorial (Explained) 

Dude this is by far the best tutorial I have ever used!!!!!!! I've seen other tuts but all they showed were the notations, what you did was explain things that were necessary to know (such as inputting super jump during hyper grav), you had notations, broke it down and even told what the common mistakes! Thanks bro.

I've been looking everywhere to find how to do magnetos grav loop, and i couldn't do it until i found this video....I'm so proud of myself....thank you....definite sub, definite like :)

Ok. Finally a video with a thorough explanation. I've wanted to play Mags since vanilla but my inability to do hyper grav loops stalled me. I watched dozens of tutorial videos but all they really did was show notations. You actually detailed how it's supposed to happen and thanks to this I was able to kinda get it down in maybe 5 minutes. My almost dead jab button is holding me back from fulling executing it but still, thanks a bunch.

Ah, I see why I was doing it wrong. My super jump was too slow - didn't know you were supposed to be starting the sj before the hyper grav comes out. Thanks!

To learn the hyper grav loop without the setup(starting on the ground), do you use L hyper grav throughout the loop??

are you getting the whole super jump motion off before the orbs comne out and he's free to move or are you just getting the down motion with the stick and then the up when he is free to move? That make sense?

If I'm not mistaken the hurtbox for Nemesis's legs actually does not exist when he's airborne. That could explain why the Hyper Grav can't hit him in time for the loop since it has to travel much farther than normal. Since he's so big his torso is just too low to the ground by the time grav reaches his hurtbox. But it works just fine on Dormammu and Sentinel who are both of comparable height to Nemesis.

Thanks for the video, Instead of dashing down forward, i just dash down because i find it easier. If after 1 or 2 hyper grav loops im far away from the character i just super jump to the right and dash down. Its way easier.

i get confused after the the super jump into add F H. do we dash down after the super jump before adding Forward H.

do you HAVE to plink the dash?? cuz i have my button layout like MvC2 and its difficult to plink dash

I'm having a hard time getting the ADDF+H to actually hit in the air and not on the ground. I see the start up frame activating but it cancels out as soon as I land. What am I doing wrong?

idk what im doing wrong i super jump after the grab but when i go down i hit them twice but they dont get caught in the grab

got the super jump and H, H but hyper grav wont connect for the life. is it that i'm still not putting it in fast enough (thatswhatshesaid) or whhhat. i'm already doin it pretty fast but he just hits the ground

Can u do this combo with a regular controller not a fight stick?

Xbox controller is not ideal for this combo, been trying for a week and the super jump after the hyper grav never comes out since the dpad makes a lot more complicated.

i play on a ps3 controller and i set the trigger to be light/medium so i press that to ADDF but since it doesn't work i gotta press light/medium

Could you explain doom's loops just like this one? I can't tell for sure but I think magneto is way harder to play than doom XD mag combos involving flight cancels would also be great once I'm done with this one thanks for the help.

Can you still do this on a controller? I just picked up Magnus and this is the main reason why I wanted to pick him up.

When you're about to do the second H before you dash down to the ground, don't do it too fast or you'll float in the air for a little while and the hyper grav will be too late coming out, hoped i helped :)

The truth about the hyper grab and nemesis is that nemesis is NOT pulled towards the player when he is captured. Rather he stays in the area where he is hit. To test this, hit him with a hyper grab H as he's super jumping and he will not be pulled back down towards you. This means hyper grab doesn't work on him because he does not move up as you super jump in the air.

I just realized that you must perform air dashes with L+M. If it's performed along with pressing H button it's going to be hard to cancel the dash into air H

you mean the dash down into H? yeah, you have to plink the addH. i'm having a hard time, too, since i have L trigger as dash and circle as H(PS3 pad).

im positive u are using a dash button L + M. i couldnt do it without it. unless im wrong?

this is just doable when using an arcade stick. i don't think u can do this combo with regular controller

How long how have you been playing Magneto? Don't worry about getting things down right away Magneto is actually one of the hardest characters to play. Just gotta keep practicing, don't ever give up on Magnus keep at it and I guarantee you'll see results.

not a bad tutorial but still has me wondering about how to execute perfectly. for example ive only got it to confirm once and ive been following this exact tutorial :(

Thought ADD H meant add another H like how mission mode tells you. Air dash...got it.

this is definitely possible on pad or vita. but for me i think its impossible without using a L + M button (dash button). i can do it easy with it but cannot without.

that dash+H is killing me. i've only been able to do it once and i can't do it again. so far i've been settling with easier mags combos...

this is super difficult for me considering I'm right handed... my left hand can't do the right motions and I can't super jump properly or air dash down. Oh well..
