To be honest I think Yipes is on a whole different level then Mike. Not saying Mike is bad or anything but he said himself on twitter hes not ready yet to play with the top dogs. But he has improved dramatically so props to Mike.
can some explain to me why isnt it a good idea to push block vergil spiral swords to avoid chip damage, i know some where in the video it mentioned why. but the truth is i dont get what his saying. thanks
I think the only reason he got bodied so bad is because Vergil is one of sent's worst matchups, and dante's one of hulk's worst. His storm wasn't so hot that set, but the fact that Yipes shut his hulk down so hard made Mike look a lot more free than he is right now.
Mike got bodied so hard because Vergil absolutely wrecks Hulk and Sentinel. Well, technically Vergil wrecks everyone, but especially Hulk and Sentinel.
You literally have absolutely 0 idea how competitive fighting games work if you claim it's "cheap". Some things are cheap, but in a "Oh man...that's dirty. I'll have to learn how to block those." It's a little dull seeing so many Vergils now, but the fact stands that he is one of the best and most versatile characters. No reason not to use him really.
it's called tiers bro. EVERY game has them. you make 40-something different characters with all different abilities, supers, hit boxes, jumps, rolls, power ups, etc. and there are ALWAYS going to be characters that work best and some that don't. Same thing with Magic, other video game, life, politics, and tons of other things. There are a lot of options but there will always be some that work better than others. Not to mention that ALL this is totally situational as well, lol.
Quit being a hater. If you hate repetitiveness, stop watching these videos. Or, just stop playing the game. Simple as that. No one is forcing you to play or watch these things. Lol. Mad respect though. I couldn't play this game that well if my life depended on it. XD
Lol. Less "cheapest way to win", and more like "best possible tactic". Money's on the line. Purposely picking sub par characters or tactics isn't something to be admired. FYI strider wasn't top 4 in MvC2, so thats not the best comparison to use here.
