James is like a politician. So many people said not to sell the Countach so he's decided not to sell it even though the reason he stated for wanting to sell it made perfect sense. The car does nothing for the channel but selling it would get everything he wanted to get done on the house done and would make a world of difference for the channel with an amazing Batcave finished.
I disagree. Strad has built his channel around lamborghinis and him owning all the flagship models is something that the majority of his viewers look forward to. Lamborghini Countach is only going up in value, especially the white on white model he has, so it doesn't make any sense to sell it. Batcave is a "cool" idea, but it wouldn't do much for his channel because he already has a GTA style looking garage that gives amazing overview of his collection. Even when batcave is ready, it wont get many use because it seems like a pain in the ass to store cars there and it takes away the wow factor when he films in his main garage. Not to mention that the batcave and car on the wall is another massive moneysink for the house

You might think the Indy car on the wall is dumb but I think it would be cool to walk by daily. Same with the Batcave that he talked about for over a year as something that would be so cool. You said his garage is already GTA style looking but he has to move cars out to get to some cars when he has a Batcave that would make it even more GTA looking with cool lights. And by finishing that he could have space between cars in the main garage and he'd never have to move a car out to drive a car. You said his house is a money pit for a better word but here is the thing about that. If the house isn't finished it is worth way less than if he finishes the house.
Strad. That windshield tint is super important to preserving that cars dashboard and interior. If you care about preserving that art piece of a car, I would retint that windshield with clear ceramic film.
As i was watching him remove that, i was like "huh somehow this feels wrong, i don't know why but it's probably bad that he removes this". Came to the comments to see WHY it's bad, and your reason sounds very convincing...
i 100% agree with the either a clear or 70% ceremic windshield tint. not only will it preserve the dash you also get the added benifit of no glare from the sun or headlights and overall cut down on the heat inside the car. its a worthwhile investment.

I live in Utah and Cali and am more nervous driving my McLaren in Utah than Cali. Too many distracted drivers along the Wasatch front. And I'm sure Cali has more uninsured and under insured drivers with the cost of living being unbearable for many hard-working people. Still, Cali drivers are better than Utah ones.

It was blue tint on the front window, because it's a solar wrap. It saves your from UV and interior doesn't get so hot while being in the sun and it's more comfortable for your eyes to see through it when it's sunny. So no reason to peal it off...
The car never sits outside in the sun for a prolonged period of time. Seeing out of the car is now actually better because the glass is clearer without the blue tint

The film on the windshield is probably a UV reflective film, hence the blueish hue. I've got a similar looking film on my car's windows too. Huge difference in temperature inside the car when parked in the sun in summer.

The windshield tint is absolutely necessary when it comes to controlling the temperature in the car and protecting the interior from UV rays. I think the blue hue makes it look cool too. Put some sunglasses on and those tints pop with rainbows on the road lol
James, the tint was a ceramic film for heat. Houston probably put it on being in Vegas to block the IR heat while driving. Also, never heat the front windshield, if you get it too hot it will crack. Use a wallpaper steamer and it will get the tint off with all the adhesive. Or leave it out in the sun for an hour and peel. (I own a tint shop)
It’s blue because it is a ceramic based film. The clear ceramic film helps reduce heat induction and protects you from UV damage. You probably should’ve left it on. However, if you ever happen to be in Georgia with that car. I can put a completely completely clear Graphene film on there that does not leave the blue Hugh and gives you more protection than the Ceramic
Strad, I own a window tinting shop and yes that was ceramic window tint. Make sure you only use stainless steel razor blades to remove adhesive residue. Anything besides stainless will scratch the window. Manufacturers of stainless blades are proud of them so it will always say stainless on the packaging. I couldn't tell if those Milwaukie blades were carbon or stainless
As a log time follower, do what you want with your money strad. So many people saying what you should do but us real followers want you to make the choice that makes the most sense for you and makes your life easiest. Regardless of what you do, you will have the real fans here.

You should take the Koenigsegg to Ceramic Pro to have proper tint installed. Not for tinting the windows or the windshield at all, but for the important benefit of keeping the uv and ir rays from the sun out of the car.

James, Keep the Countach. You'll hate yourself for letting that car go. It's one of the nicer examples I've seen and it will easily be a million dollar car in the next few years.
Strad, with these extraordinary prices, wouldnt it be CHEAPER to ask someone to manufacture that piece in CARBON FIBER or forged carbon from scratch based on the crashed part you have + you get weight savings! Did you consider it? Upgrades from the heart baby!!! If you get a good partner in this crazy project, maybe you can even get it for cheaper and advertise their work of quality Also if i had a Koenigsegg i would sleep with it in my bed lol
I was just browsing GT2RS listings and saw a ruby red one at the SLC Ferrari dealership. Insane spec. Take that bar that the sub was mounted to out. That would kill some legs in an accident.

James when you drive the car solo park with the passenger side towards the curb. This way you don't have to worry about opening your door and hitting it on something.
James, I'm sure you won't see this but if you can just find the cad scan for the 812 part, any machine shop with a CNC machine can mill you a billet part for waaaaaay cheaper
Finally! I love the expensive super cars, but I also love to watch the mods on the more affordable stuff. Been waiting for the Emira to see some upgrades. HBD to my uncle btw! 😂
