Only at episode 7-8 you will know, I don't say this as a spoiler but it's VERY difficult to find any clue because it's something BIIIIIIIG and when I say it's big it would change your perspective on this whole season & the Avatar! Unalaq introduced Spiritbending a new art of bending from Waterbending. I wrote in a early video of yours that LOK would introduce a LOT of new bendings and it's just the beginning! With Amon the writters talked about equality, in this season with Unalaq, we have religious extremism. I think the word you searched is "ulterior". At this point, we all know it's not just Unalaq as a vilain considering the book it's called Spirits! We will see if the theory of the Evil Avatar is true.
