To those of you who read the description: You are an excellent subscriber! :)
Jose Raul Capablanca was regarded as a chess prodigy, yet his father wanted him to maintain the "even tenor of the average boy's way in his youth." Capablanca moved to the USA in 1904 to complete his education. However, he left Columbia University in 1910 without a degree and pursued a career in chess.[3] His first international success was his clear win (+8 -1 =14) over the former world championship challenger in Capablanca-Marshall (1909). After that, he was considered a worthy contender for the title of world champion, and reigning champion Emanuel Lasker commented "Capablanca has shown himself to be a great player."
Capablanca's admirers had suggested a title challenge as early as 1908. Even prior to his first European tournament, León Paredes had suggested to Lasker that he play a match with Capablanca, but Lasker declined. Capablanca himself remained cautious. The hype surrounding Capablanca made Lasker admit that the subject got "on his nerves." Capablanca made his international tournament debut at San Sebastian (1911). He unexpectedly won 1st prize, a result even he hadn't anticipated.[9] About seven months after this success, he challenged Lasker to a title match.]

That's a bit of an annoying draw, just as it was getting fascinating! Those knight manouvres by Capablanca are amazing: he pictured the knight on its final location about 10 moves in advance and then worked out how to get it there. Incredible vision.

Here's some wisdom for the aspiring initiate: if you really are serious about getting better at chess, then focus on learning visualization and calculation. Clarity of vision of the chessboard in the mind is THE defining measure of strength in chess. There are good and important books about chess calculation and visulization, google it and check youtube for resources and exercises. It's hard work, and that's why there are only few good players. But this is what chess really is all about, and without this skill you will never acquire mastery.

I can recommend Jacob Aagaard (2004). Excelling at Chess Calculation as a good place to start. But perusing RU-vid on the subject, and working with the recommended exercises, will definitely help too. Learn what stepping stones are, and practise getting as clear a mental picture as possible of positions a few moves ahead, for instance by solving studies without a board.

@agadmator Perhaps you have heard the personal form of "unassailable." In America, we often hear about the "assailant" when referring to a criminal who has attacked someone. The descriptive form seems less common. You might hear in history class about a Medieval fortress being unassailable.

In French we have the verb "assaillir" which means "to attack" so I guess it's the same verb. And after some search "to assail" is "assaillir" and both are archaic versions of "assault". Still, thanks for the new English word and for the superb game!

My guess is that if the knight moves to E1 on the way to D3 that black would immediately push E5 and create a breakthrough in the position that would be favorable for black.

It's interesting that chessgames.com has 99 games with 6...Bg6 & Black having a 40.4% win rate vs. White's 16.2%. Stockfish doesn't like it at first, however, once it gets 38 ply deep, it gives White only +0.42. 6...Bxd3 has 182 games with Black winning 18.1% vs White's 26.4%. Ivanchuk & Anand have won with 6...Bg6. Black's win % is poor after 8.0-0 when he trades on d3 on move 6 & 8...Bd6 gives White a position that gives him a win % of 42.2%. 8...Bd6 was, by far, Black's worst choice. However, Stockfish is giving it only +0.44. Maybe those who played 6...Bxd3, that are on chessgames.com just aren't up to handling the position?
