I’ve given up about complaining about my role as an adc. 3 years ago when Leona was able to 1v1 me while I twitch. While she had only support item I just stopped complaining. I embraced how shit my role way and I just live with it.
5:00 That is actually so annoying as a top laner, I notice it happen more and more where I just randomly see enemy support in my lane or in the bush jumping on me. Like having to deal with junglers dictating the outcome of the lane where getting a single solobolo is the end was enough, now I have to worry about two people. They don't even have to get a kill or anything just zone off of one wave or burn flash and you can't play the game for next 15 mins anymore (assuming you were even or even slightly ahead of enemy Top).
ADC is the Britney Spears of Roles. Was fire back in the day but never that popular with the everyday lowelo people. Now our abusive daddy support took control of our entire lives and we cant get any money without their permition
Holy moly caedrel is actually very very reasonable and good at going through the requests? Sounds like he hadn't much before, it'll be interesting to see how he tries to keep shaping the culture
there's a reason i quit playing adc & ranked some seasons ago and have just been playing aram since then. way more fun and way less toxic excluding the occasional tryhard.
I used be to an AD main and now I tryhard ARAM with a couple of friends, but it's so funny when another friend occasionally plays with us because he's a top main and complains that he feels weak lol. Ofc he's weaker he's not 3 levels and 1 item ahead on the enemy players ahah. I really like the aram mecanics otherwise except for the existence of a few champs that just remove any fun when they're in the game (viego for example).
I think riot should "fix" the xp again i know snowballing would be fking insane but i mean if you leave lane to push/harras or even get a kill here and there you shouldn't be 2 lvls ahead of the sup that stay in lane and ate 4 waves
I think the support role in league isn't gonna be played how it used to bcs players understand the game on a deeper level now and take actions. I think what really needs to happen is sidelane turrets should get a change to not make them prisons/Targets. Maybe make the Alcove next to the sidelane turrets so you have some outplay potential under your turret or make the turret stronger. if you have to farm under your turret on sidelane you have less outplay potential than being in the middle of the lane. I think turrets dont provide enough safety for the early stages of the game anymore. Everything gets buffed except the towers ofc you will get dived right? or am i wrong?
Phreak : "according to the data, adc wins in 50% of all games in all elos. Its fundamentaly balanced and right where we are looking to keep them." 😂 results based analysis can sometimes have issues. Phreak IS using objective data, but its clearly skewed and not the healthiest way to balance the game.
The one thing i hate about phreak is that him saying that people are building wrong and people build right items these champs would be balanced. Him telling adc players to buy useless early item like sheildbow which gives no value to you . Recently he said sivir would have been balanced if she bought static shiv first and and senna sp to buy ghostblade after it got heavily nerfed for ranged. These arguments doesn't work in balance. He shouldn't be in the balance team
support definitely is a problematic role poke mages shouldn't be able to function as supports. those champions are supposed to be balanced around a challenging laning phase in terms of CS and the danger of assassin matchups/ganks thing is, there are no assassins in botlane, junglers only care about toplane, and supports don't have to CS so the only thing they have to worry abt is how to land brand E or Lux E (which are often undodgeable) this isn't fair, there shouldn't be a role which impacts so much by doing so little.
As a adc, I used to be abandoned but the most frustrating thing is sup clearing and destroying lane and blaming me. Sup cannot take all the gold and hide at the back to kill steal
As support main supports need to be nerfed. If you do not play Janna you will 100% lose 6 voids just becouse of her ms. Main problem with support is Mao and Janna.
Hot take. Adc items are kept trash because they have to keep the Windshitters from being insanely op I seriously think they need to reconsider how Yas and Yone scale off attack speed and Crit
It's funny what Caedrel said about roaming supports and how he feels they shouldn't be in the game. When I play, I agree, roaming sup is annoying, but when I watch pro play? I love it and find roaming sup very entertaining
why should adc players say anything? nothing is going to happen, maybe one patch adc will be fine but then they will nerf it again. then they'll say ad players are 'crying'.. so whats the point
I feel the people that say Caedral's chat is toxic saw those comments although it might just be the constant degen spam but idk. Im just a YT frog so it doesn't matter to me much.
Both teams have a support and can do the exact same thing…. The game should be more about bot lane than the others because you have two people in it…. The best thing you can do for bot lane if you mess your lane up is leave it….
oops i gave enemy ad a kill, thats fine hes playing an adc so he will not carry so i will just perma roam with first item mobi's and be the strongest role in the game for 20 minutes. Oh my ad died under tower 3x? thats okay hes playing ad he was going to be useless anyway
Tbf adc players were notorious whiners even when the role was busted and one damage-dealer and 4 tanks were considered "balanced comps". I can understand Phreak being done with them, although he's definitely a terrible communicator and literally makes you feel like shit because you're asking a question that has already been addressed within the balance team
The reason people don’t complain anymore is because people more and more understand that they’re being scammed and the game has been rotting from the inside since 2019. So long story short - they moved on.
