I love a good distance pit not much on a speed pit if you're going to build a 4x4 don't be scared to get them dirty

independent suspension front and rear would give you a huge advantage in the bogs. that front axle is only a foot or so off the ground and you end up bulldozing mud because it cant get around it. independent front and rear would turn that body height into actually usable ground clearance

I don't know shit about this competition but are there any limitations on what tires you can have? If there are none then why people don't grab something like AVTOROS M-TRIM, drop as much weight as they can and float on top of it?

In nj every thing rusts out and when my dads second gen Durango HEMI gets to many miles and rust I want to do some big mods and crush mud pits

It would be simple. All these vehicles have one thing in common. They all have low axles. That is to say they’re only about 2 foot off the ground. So… What you do as you push all that mud, the wheels just spin. Here’s how you do it. Find yourself one of those John Deere tractors they have the hydraulic drive wheels. They’re really goofy looking… But I’ve seen them before. They have about 6 feet of ground clearance, because they don’t have axles. They have reduction boxes on each wheel. Yes you could run an axle. But with a giant reduction box on each of your corners, you would have this kind of clearance. You would only need two or 300 hp… Not seven or eight. And you could just kind of… Motor through all that.

If u have good tires that r thick then u mite make it if u keep working ur front wheels

We all know each truck goes further than the previous... your pushing a wall of mud. To make it fair the first couple trucks should be pulled all the way through to make the pit to make even for everyone

the mud was to thick and some of the truck wood of made if they had better tires and was closer to the wallin the mud pit

I can't stand it when people sit there and spin themselves in a hole instead of reversing and getting another run as a matter of fact I went through a mud hole backwards and did better than forward

why show up with bald street tires ? 40 inch r2 tractor tire is 1/4 the price or if you want to win use scat trac paddle tire but radial street tire is just dumb . better yet $90 gets you a locker !!!
