The episode that still resonates with me is about the quiet banker who was working in the closed vault when "The ultimate Bomb is finally dropped and everyone dies. Except him! Since he is a recluse, only needing the basics of life, he's totally fine. Plus, he has a huge library to fill his reading goals until he dies. Unfortunately, an accident happens in which he breaks both lens of his special glasses, leaving him unable to see well beyond his hand for any daily needs, well as being now unable to see within an arm's length. So, no books, no TV, no driving, etc. It was the worst episode of Hitchcock Presents for me. It was and is his scariest possibility and haunted me for years when I forgot where I had placed my glasses. That one, even many decades later, has been a reccuring nightmare, even though it has not occurred. Hitchcock was truly the Master! 😮😢😅😢😂😊❤ Sherrill Smith
