There is a huge difference between the Knowledge of the Unseen that is withheld ('ilm ul Ghayb") and the knowledge that is granted. The Holy Qur'an is very clear on this matter no matter what the Shi'as want to believe. No one knows anything of Allah's Knowledge except if he will. "Who can intercede with Him except the cases He permits? He knows what is in front of them and what is behind them, and they encompass nothing of His knowledge except what He will.”(Qur’an 2:255). No one but Allah possesses the 'ilm ul Ghayb. In 20:52, it is said, "He said: "The knowledge of that is with my Lord in a Record. My Lord neither errs nor forgets.” According to the Qur'an, knowledge that are only Allah's such as giving life, curing without medication, etc. may be given by Allah as and when He deems appropriate. For example, this is what Jesus (peace be upon him) said in Surah 3, verse 49: "I have come to you with a sign from your Lord; I will create for you out of clay a figure of a bird, then I will breath into it, and it will be a bird by leave of Allah; I will also heal the blind and the leper, and bring to life the dead, by leave of Allah. These words with no doubt countradict what Allah said in Surah Luqmaan "Verily, Allah With Him (Alone) is the knowledge of the Hour, He sends down the rain, and knows that which is in the wombs. No person knows what he will earn tomorrow, and no person knows in what land he will die. Verily, Allah is All-Knower, All-Aware (of things)" [Quran 31:34]

There is difference in ilm a gayb types, one is only that Allah knows and the other that he knows and choses to share with his representative example prophets. Out of what is shared with prophet some is to help them conduct their prophetic mission and guide them and the other what is intended to be shared with people also. Either way this is not same as what Allah knows … the prophet only knows what is taught to him

Simply ilmul aib or the knowledge of the unseen is only exclusive to Allah. It is only the competence of Allah, but whenever He wants, He reveals some of His knowledge of the unseen to His slave or messengers. The messengers have not the competence that once he acquires knowledge of unseen and for ever he have, whenever Allah wants, gives him some knowledge for specific occasions, but they have no competence of their own that they have ilmul aib and when ever they want they use it.

In this hadith in the original arabic it is mentioned لَعَنَ اللهُ أَبَا التُّرَابِ' (may allah curse Abu turab (Abu Turab was the name given to hazrat ali by Prophet Muhammad pbuh) Sahih Muslim 6229 Sahl b. Sa`d reported that a person from the offspring of Marwan was appointed as the governor of Medina. He called Sahl b. Sa`d and ordered him to abuse `Ali. Sahl refused to do that. He (the governor) said to him:If you do not agree to it (at least) say: May Allah curse Abu Turab. Sahl said: There was no name dearer to `Ali than Abu Turab (for it was given to him by the Prophet himself) and he felt delighted when he was called by this name. He (the governor) said to him: Narrate to us the story of his being named as Abu Turab. He said: Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) came to the house of Fatima and he did not find `Ali in the house; whereupon he said: Where is your uncle's son? She said: (There cropped up something) between me and him which had annoyed him with me. He went out and did not rest here. Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) asked a person to find out where he was. He came and said: Allah's Messenger, he is sleeping in the mosque. Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) came to him and found him lying in the mosque and saw that his mantle had slipped from his back and his back was covered with dust and Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) began to wipe it away from him (from the body of Hadrat `Ali) saying: Get up, covered with dust (Abu Turab); get up, covered with dust.

The mothers of the believers are mothers of female and male believers not just male believers. Alimu Gayb is Allah and no one else. From Ilmu gayb, when Allah gives by revelation anything to anyone, eg His Prophets, AS, this didn't make the Prophets AS Alimu gayb too because that will negate the Absolute fact that Allah is the Alimu Gayb. Further, what Allah has revealed of Gayb, is no more Gayb and no more belonging to the Ilmu gayb that Allah Alone is the Alimu Gayb of and over.
